Went in 10 years ago to open an account, a tall blonde elderly lady didn't gave me a chance to do it, because I haven't had a job. She wasn't impressed by the fact I told her I need the account in order to get a job which is already on the way, the only thing I need is the account . At the end I went over the road and at Barclays I got my account in matter of minutes. Now I run a successfull business with great profit to Barclays too, Thank you!

My money is in this bank until tomorrow. Today I went by and asked for them to certify a document. They refused. They said they only certify documents for lloyds, nobody else. A part of doing business with a bank is having them certify things when you need them to take 1 minute and certify something, if they refuse to do that part of their business, then I am going to do business with a bank that does what banks do. Not just holding money but certifiying documents when called for.

Advised by Lloyds employee over telephone to visit in branch to verify identity for an ?online? application. I said I?d visit after work (3.15 finish) the next day. Only to find they shut at 3.30! Ridiculous! Door closed in face ?we?re shut?. Early closing should?ve been mentioned by the employee online to save my wasted journey.

Just been in to do a CHAPS transfer. Was told that they could do a Faster Payment instead, which they did: quickly, efficiently, politely and with no charge. Also learned that they had stopped a potential fraud involving a large sum of money the other day. Very impressed; thank you.

Poor service!The staffs made a promise a phone call back but heard nothing for weeks. We left a voicemail for amounts times. We have been going back and forward to the bank for month and was told that they will support us but NO- we are being neglected by them!Very unhappy!!
