So much better than Homebase alone

What great staff, firstly Ollie, he helped me find some bungee cords in diy section, then 2 nice ladies helped me to buy a floor lamp that was discontinued. All 3 went well beyond the extra mile. Thankyou

I was underwhelmed. I love the Peterborough Range, but the Huntingon store felt empty. The craft aisles were boring. Many shelves were empty or sparsely filled. However, I did buy the Wilkos seeds and Black jack compost which were both a good price, so I suppose it stopped me buying anything I didn't really need. I hope they stock it better soon.

Why does your store have no toilets, not good if you are having a good look round, and being told by your worker to use the ones at Dunelm, fair to say,Dunelm got my custom today,

What a mess! Grabbed a rusty old knackered Homebase trolley and made my way in. I almost walked out but gave it my best shot. It seemed neat enough on the shelves and the products seemed ok for what they were. I was looking for tiles but no luck. The flooring was the same as before, stained and old, signage non existent or simply looked 'Homebasey' It just looked like a 'seconds' warehouse. I am unsure why The Range didn't make it look nice before proceeding. Their Peterborough store is a mess, I thought this new one might be a welcome change. I didn't buy any tat and had to dump the empty trolley inside as the only way out was through the queue at the till. 'sake....

What a massive dissapointment, I visited it today and it was unorganised, no real order of products. The staff was near on invisible apart from 4 on the tills... the queues causing problems for those wanting to leave the store ... as there is very little room to get out if you aren't purchasing anything. The whole place has to be the worst Range I've so far seen.
It looks like it's been thrown together by Stevie Wonder, it still has Homebase signs outside, alongside the Ranges ...
There products not being set up like other stores shows how amateur the management are,
Surely don't open a brand new store before it's ready?
If it doesn't improve I can't see it lasting, maybe they need to visit Southend or Peterborough to see how there set up... 1 out of 10 is being generous to them

Absolutely chocker block when we went as it was opening weekend.
The size and selection of home good was great. Prices were often impressive.
Only 4 stars as I think my wife is going to want to go often and it's going to cost me a lot of money!

No toilets, no cafe, aisles very small and tight and the only lift can just about fit a trolley, not been designed well.

Sad for the people losing their jobs. Homebase has been in decline for many years though

There's not much to say. The place is empty, just odd & ends left. The ladies on the checkout were chatty.

Homebase is closing soon (Jan 2025) hopefully will be taken on by someone with a better range.
