I have been coming here since 1990. Today would be my last visit due to moving out of the area. I had a slow puncture and had popped in to ask them to check it. They showed me the hole in the tyre but unfortunately did not have my size in stock. I can?t fault the services I have received for all my cars in the past and wouldn?t hesitate to recommend them.

I have taken my car here a few times and have always been happy with the service provided. However! I recently took my car in as I had a headlight bulb out. When leaving the car with them they never took my contact details. No problem as I would just call them later in the day to see how they were getting on. Called mid afternoon that day to be told the car was ready for collection but it was not the bulb that had blown. Nor was it a fuse. In fact it was something more sinister like a corroded connection, broken wire or a bad earth. They had told me they had checked for any broken wires up to a point on the loom but could not see any issues and that it would take further investigation. This was on the friday before the last bank holiday. So I booked the car in on the following Tuesday. Then they told me to bring the car in on Thursday as the guy who would be looking at my car had a big job on so wouldn't be able to look at it until then. So Wednesday afternoon rolls around and I call to confirm we are still ok for Thursday. Was greeted on the phone by the owner who seemed annoyed that I had called while he was eating his lunch. He told me that the guy who would be looking at my car had a lot of work still and may not be able to look at my car and to leave it with them all day. I was told that they might not be able to find the fault and that it may take a while and that regardless of whether they fixed my car or not they would charge me £70 an hour. At the time this seemed like I would be writing them a blank cheque. They could have the car all day and charged me whatever they damn well pleased which didn't sit right with me. Needless to say I didn't take my car in on the Thursday and decided to take it into an auto electrician local to where I live. To do this I needed to take a day off work. So fast forward to today and I took my car into the auto electrician who had it for a maximum of an hour and said it was just the bulb that had gone and it just cost me £12! I couldn't believe it! So all the trust that I had built up with Elite over the years had now completely gone and I can honestly say I won't be taking my car there in future.Services: Electrical repair

I needed to find a place to repair my rear tyre as i was hearing weird noise. I was suggested to try here and I was very happy at the end.Great welcoming by Ben and having the issue sorted quickly. I left the car at 10 and i got a call around noon to be informed the issue was found and then it was sorted within an hour.Better to call in advance to find available slot as they look very busy.Highly recommended.
