EXTREMELY POOR DELIVERY SERVICEI bought a chair ie sofa from British Heart Foundation Huntingdon yesterday, I paid for delivery and I was told that the delivery will be done the next day. On the delivery day, I received a message that they will be at my home by 2:27pm, by 2:24pm, they were already at the door, banging the door so hard continously, making just too loud noise. The knock alone was not close to friendly. When I got to the door, they were 2 men, one far older than the other. The older man has very bad behaviour, so impatient and extremely rude. He just had a very few effort to bring in the sofa. He immediately said this sofa will not go in. FYI, the said sofa is same size with the old one I have already inside. The older man with very poor effort told the young peaceful looking man they should return the sofa. The older man's behaviour was extremely rude and unpleasant. They ruined my good mode this day. I so wished I didn't encounter them or have anything to do with this set of people. I don't wish anyone to have this bad experience. I also wish BHF do something about this older staff, he needs to be retrained as he clearly has very poor human relation skills in my assessment. I had very bad experience. So sad!

Paul and Elliott came to do a pick up today. I had a text of their eta, and they were spot on time. They were respectful of my home, friendly, courteous, helpful. An asset to BHF. Thank you. Thank you also to Sam in the shop who was equally pleasant and helpful.

I bought a table last week, and I took a day off especially for this occasion to deliver my table, they notified me a day before delivery and said they would call me 30 minutes before they reached me. I was careless with the thought that they would call me but they did not let me know. Just when they arrived at my house they sent an SMS that they arrived I called back and told them they were coming in 5 minutes but they did not want to wait. I asked them why they didn't call me and they said they called me but I didn't answer, they still have the courage to lie.

i bought a 32inch TV and a bed from here about 6 months ago , the tv never did work and ive just found out the bed was infested with bed bugs (im recovering from chemo so i thought the red spots on my legs were a reaction to this) but i found bed bugs this morning , not happy at all , No point in going in the shop as i dont have the receipts.and my sis got a £60 fine for parking at the back of the shop for 10 mins to load the tv . bad experience all round really , will not go back to this shop , ever

Really sad got a beautiful sofa that is now going to waste , partner took two days off work and BHF failed to collect as agreed, (1st date was a no show , second date turned up at 415pm when collection docket clearly states 8am 4pm) not sure how they ?love turning your generously donated items into cash that funds life changing research? when simple collection dates times can?t be adhered too , Spoke to manager and was only able to offer me a 3rd date , can?t risk loosing another full day?s work, really disappointing from such a big charity ?

Went their today and bought a T.V, dont know if women that served me was manager but exceptional service, was so helpful with meas was the young lad behind the checkout, but every time I go here I find the staff amazing. Thank you.

Was hawk eyed by a member of staff who asked me and my partner several times if we needed help. As I went to the back to look at some electric items she came over, asked if she could help, I said I was just looking, then she literally remained facing me for around a minute. I had the impression she was making sure I did not steal anything but it did not dissuade me from looking, which is probably why she did not stop watching me. Is this racial profiling? It did not feel good.
