We had a Christmas party here a couple of years ago, it was nice, food was good and the room we were given was good and staff were really great. The reason I put 4 stars is, there were issues with allergens, we called months in advance to let them know that we had one person allergic to milk and soy who couldn't eat any of the desserts on the Xmas menu. I was told the chef would cook her something different on the night. Then on the night we were told that we hadn't ordered a dessert for someone so I was like "yes, I told you this, she can't eat any of them she has allergies, i told you this on the phone, you have a list of her allergies" then they wanted to know who I spoke to because nobody had put the note in, so make sure you get the name of the person you're speaking to if you for warn them of allergies.
They managed to resolve it though and made her something from the normal menu, the girl was really good about it and I guess she gets this a lot, but she shouldn't have to worry about it at her Xmas party. wouldn't do a Christmas party there again if I was still with my coworkers who had allergies.
Other than that, it was really good, staff were great, room was great and the food was good.

As our new local pub, we visited Brampton Mill for a Sunday roast with friends. The food was good however, the service was extremely poor. The staff were not attentive and instead standing round talking, and we had to ask to place our drinks order and was waiting a long time for food to come out. Plates were not cleared in between courses. Overall very poor service and would not be happy to return as it is now, especially for the price you pay.

Had a wonderful meal last Friday night at Brampton Mill. We were staying in the touring caravan site The Willows, which was close by and within walking distance. We had our 2 cocker spaniels with us and sat in the High Table area, where they were most welcome. Great service, great food and a super atmosphere. Will definitely be back when we stay at the caravan site again.

Amazing food & atmosphere. Great service too. Highly recommend. We had the pork belly & lamb. Absolutely delicious! A real gem of a place. Definitely would go back.

Found this gem of a place on our way back to the Midlands from Stansted Airport. Great atmosphere, quaint and rustic. Compliments to the chef 'Charlie', our food was delicious. Our servers, Caitlin and Freya were fabulous and provided a great service. Definitely would revisit if in the area again. Thank you.

Always great food and great service. Fantastic location with great outdoor seating. The dirty burger is always a favourite. Seafood pasta was on point.
