I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dan for his outstanding service! He always supports customers with patience, explains everything clearly and makes the whole process completely stress-free. Had my card blocked by a rude Representative while traveling. Had to wait until I flew back to the UK and spoke with Dan at the Huntington location. He was awesome? Very empathetic, helpful and fixed the problem. Wish they were more like him.

I?m not a Barclays customer but I have Power of Attorney for my elderly Dad who has early onset dementia and he is. I first came into the branch in late April after my Dad?s card was declined. I didn?t have an appointment but the wonderful Lisa bent over backwards to help us and put time and effort into
putting Dad at ease. She made a very valid point that should serve as a warning to all that simply having POA is not enough in itself, it should be registered with the bank. I took her advice and did just that. Fast forward to today 8th August and we returned to the branch, again without an appointment. As a result of receiving statements after registering as POA I discovered that my Dad had been paying literally thousands over the years for Domestic Appliance warranties, a lot of which he no longer owned and various lottery type games which he?d obviously been cold called to sign up for. On this occasion Paul attended to us and helped us to cancel many Direct Debit payments immediately and with minimum fuss. He also helped simplify my Dad?s accounts and ensure he was receiving the best returns. He spent the best part of an hour with us. Everyone in the branch was helpful and friendly. A mention also for the young man who initially triaged our needs for being polite and attentive and Katie for just being friendly and chatting to us while Paul was beavering away. Today?s experience was old fashioned customer service and I mean that as a huge compliment. If I didn?t live 450 miles away I would move my own account here. Thank you. Barclays Huntingdon!
