An amazing hidden gem, very welcoming, happy and attentive staff providing prompt service in a relaxed setting inside or outside. The sausage rolls are excellent, a hearty tasty filling in beautiful pastry followed by a decent pot of tea???.whats not to love on a very cold icy morning! The dog also enjoyed his visit too, just had to take some sausage rolls home, hope to try the banana bread on my next visit ??????????

I still think about this latte and banana bread months later, I just had to leave a review! The loveliest little spot by the lake, it was a bit busy inside when we visited but the view of the lake and crisp autumnal weather made up for it. The banana bread was great and the latte had great flavour and texture. We must visit again sometime soon.

While cycling to the cafe, I could not imagine it would be worth passing Tom's Cakes in St Ives. I was wrong, it was worth it.\\nAlthough it was the middle of winter and the outside area was out of use, in summer, it would be lovely as it overlooks a nice lake.\\nInside I was greeted nicely and a great display of vittles was laid out. My order was taken quickly. Inside there was a smart but slightly rustic vibe. My food, an almond ? and a sausage roll were delivered in good time as was my café latte. All were excellent.\\nThe prices were a little high, but not excessively given the quality. I will certainly return.

Querky place, friendly staff! A nice little hidden gem! I had a croissant and it was very good and the sweets and savoury selection seemed really nice!

It was a smart decision to get out of St Ives and discover this amazing place next to the lake. We took the avocado toast and the marmite & cheese toasties. Both were so great.

I would recommend The Grey House but with reservations! Coffee and tea were lovely however £8/£9 for a basic ham and cheese toastie with a few pretzels and £6 for a basic bacon roll was expensive. That said what we had was nice but not great value for money - £19 for a ham and cheese toastie, bacon roll, pot of tea and an Americano seems over the top expensive!

A hidden gem and ideal spot for lunch with tree-lined patio and views over the lake. Parking on site for a few cars and the building houses a few other small businesses in the building creating a nice hub atmosphere. Nice quiet place to a get away for a few hours.

Had a drink and cake this Saturday morning and what a little gem this place is! Staff very friendly and a must visit if you haven?t been before.

This place is a real hidden gem that we are very pleased to have discovered!
We visited today with friends for an afternoon tea and it was delicious. Tasty food, especially the sausage roll, great coffee, friendly staff and a lovely view over the lake.
Highly recommend. We shall be returning!

The menu is good and the cakes are delicious and it's a lovely setting. The downside is the service. We had lunch to start with and the cake arrived ages before the sausage rolls which we had to chase. We then went back later for coffee and they forgot that as well! If they can get the service right, they will earn a 5.
