I have been a frequent purchaser of Starbucks Coffee for more years than I can count. I have been to Starbucks in Ely Town centre a few times and the experience has not been the same as other venues. The time says they open at 7am during the week, it was 7.20 and still closed, especially when you make a trip out of your way to get a coffee. I asked for filter coffee and after being told there was, I had to wait 10mins as they forgot to get it started. Maybe minor observations but collectively over time, the standard of service is slipping.

Chloe needs training. It is likely she is responsible for other bad reviews here. It is also probable that other staff have helped generate good reviews.

The wifi worked flawlessly here, the inside was clean and our coffees tasted great. The employees were all very friendly. This is a great spot to take a much needed timeout during your day. I would definitely come back to this Starbucks!

Really great service and coffee but the new seating arrangements are rather awkward and it feels very cramped at one end ( it wasn't too busy when we visited)
One of the sofas is looking pretty shabby so a freshen up and a rethink on seating would help things

Dirty needs a good clean. Order was wrong. Asked to sit in gave me a takeaway cup, order was also wrong had to get it changed.

A lovely a Starbucks- but sadly on this occasion, the drinks were well below their usual standards.Overall, the visit was disappointing, and when I'm back in Ely, I'll try out one of the independent coffee shops.

There are power points at some of the tables but they don't work, so you settle down with your laptop only to find you can't actually use it. Also, they have an upstairs but it's pretty much never available for customers. In the early days, it was always open but it seems the staff want less cleaning to do at the end of the day so they just close it off. The ground floor gets very crowded and chaotic for this reason.

Lovely staff, helpful and kind, ordered a coffee for a disabled friend but by the time he came out of the toilet it went cold. The staff immediately offered a new drink not letting me pay for it although I wanted to. That is proper customer service, thank you girls.

The ladies are always amazing no matter how busy they always as how your day is, they always make the coffees exactly how they should be! And they are just a pleasure to talk to! It feels friendly and inviting everytime!
