Lovely bright and friendly salon but expensive. My daughter (17) had a trim with literally a cm taken off the bottom of her long straight hair, and they charged her £33.00. They did wash and rough blow dry it but I still think it was expensive for what she received.

Wonderful place, staff are all very friendly, I had my hair cut and styled by an experienced stylist. I felt very happy with the end result and will be happy to return and recommend others.

Have used Snipetts for many years and not once have I had a problem.Jenna is doing a great job running the salon.Can recomend the Salon to anyone without a worry they won't be happy with the result.All the stylist discuss what you want withyou.A very happy client.

Absolutely lovey place been here a few times staff are very attentive and welcoming and always make sure things are done to the highest standards I have had both Jenna and Thea work on my hair before and getting exactly what I wanted done could not recommend them enough and along with the amazing team at snippets !!!

snipetts is an amazing salon- owned by the lovely Jenna who has years of experience under her belt who is always looking to go the extra mile. all the staff are lovely and always make you feel welcome, never had a bad experience there and my hair always looks great- from a basic trim to a head of bleach they?ve always been fantastic. can?t recommend more 5/5

Horrible place now! awful owner, dreadful experience. I had been a loyal and regular customer for over 20 years, taking my four children there for haircuts from children to teens. and have spent thousands of pounds over the years on colours and cuts over a 20 year span.Yesterday both my daughters now young adults went to have their hair colored by Thia, both did not get the hair colour they requested, despite being clear about what they wanted as customers.The stylist was dismissive about my daughter showing her the colour she wanted in the book and said she knew how to mix two colours together to make chocolate brown, my daughters hair came out almost black, much like the colour she used to have with the amazing Lucy, who is was and will always be the heart of snippets and now she is not there, it seems the place has turned into a right shambles. We never had problems with Lucy, she was exceptional and this wouldn?t have happened with her.Sadly,it would seem the owner is only interested in taking the money off young girls ,doesn?t care wether they like the way their hair has been done nor cares if they are unhappy or disappointed with the service they have received.Would she have acted that way with a more mature customer, someone who knew their rights. I think not.Taking advantage of younger adults is disgusting, they have saved hard to get their hair done and should receive the correct level of attention and good professional competent service.I suggest mums in the future, accompany their teenage or young adult daughters to hair appointments there,( if you still wish to take your daughters there, after reading this) as things have certainly changed there.Prices have changed massively and are now extortionate, customer service and regard for clients is Zero, from what I have seen on not one but both daughters hair, the staff not only are incompetent, they do what they want, not what the client wants and not what they think.They need to listen to the client and concentrate on mixing the colours correctly and achieving the correct outcome , what the customer specified.I will not be setting foot back in that place again, after what we have experienced and Jenna?s lack of resolution to put it right free of charge or at least apologize and give a full refund, that?s what most reputable business?s would do and what one would expect.Sadly, the owner, is either lying to protect the incompetence of her staff and doesn?t want to do the right thing and refund, which all I can think is she is totally unprofessional and a money grabbing individual, that clearly doesn?t give a damn about her customers.I have written this honest and frank review to warn others of our recent dreadful experience at Snippets, so that others are aware before choosing to frequent this establishment.I wish the owner had been the slightest bit remorseful, apologetic or tried to resolve my complaint by means of recolor-ing it free of charge or giving a full refund for yesterdays total balls up, but she didn?t have an ounce of professionalism or good grace to do that.One daughter said she could put up with it, despite it not being what she asked for , the other absolutely hates it.This is our experience with snippets, whilst others may have very good experiences, as we have had when Lucy was there. That was not the case yesterday, and my dealings with Jenna the owner have been shocking, I never knew she was so unprofessional , but there again I have never had much to do with her, Lucy has always been the face of snippets, the heart of that place and reason most people visited there. i always thought she was the owner, she was lovely, shame she wasn?t ! let?s hope one day she opens her own salon - I will be there in a heart beat.The Smyth Family

I have been unable to find a hairdresser for the past two years since lockdown since it has grown longer and is thick and wavy.Have had some interesting versions of what they thought I wanted?none of them were great, so my expectations today were low. I even took a hat along just incase, so I could put on if disappointed again! Well i can confirm extremely happy with my cut. Emma listened to what I wanted and with ease and confidence produced the very haircut I have been wanting. I am totally chuffed to bits having finally found the hairdresser I have been looking for.Thank you again Emma and I will be booking my next appointment shortly.Service: Hairstyling
