now a post office / shop it has a ramp for access at the front entrance a little steep but usable, during Covid when going to the post office counter you are supposed to leave via a rear door, however if you are in a wheelchair you have to go back down the long ramp that is at the back of the shop and try to pass all those in the queue as there is no ramp at the rear door, though it is only a small step and just a little concrete would be needed to make it usable for wheelchairs. maybe they will get it done some time i can hope. for the cost of maybe ten pounds of materials and half hour to an hours labour it would seem simple. it is the small things that can have big restrictions.

Queues often well into half an hour long and only one staff to process the parcels (although he's doing his best). No social distancing and a very tight space.\\nThe previous location for the post office was much more spacious, and much better staffed.

What a wonderful shop and post office. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. Also the shop side has everything you need.\\nKeep up the great work. ??

I took a parcel here labelled up, ready to send. It was labelled as a small parcel. I have sent a few parcels in the same box as a small parcel with no problem at a different post office. I actually bought those boxes as small parcel boxes. The guy measured it by putting it into a box. It did stick out from the top which surprised me. He said it was a medium parcel. I left not a happy person. I Went home, measured it to be sure and it was 16cm in height. The height it is meant to be! I then drive to another post office which was shut (a waste of journey). On Monday I took it to my usual post office and they took it with no problem. I will never bring another parcel here again or come in for anything else. That parcel needed to be sent on Saturday. Rethink the way you measure your parcels and do it properly! Disgusted!\\nI was also waiting in the queue for ages. To be turned down with a parcel that was the right size was an absolute joke!

The worst, slowest, most disorganised not to mention Covid unsafe shop, let alone post office I've ever visited.\\nThe fact that this is now the only collection point in Ely is a joke as the size of the queues in such a small shop is highly unsafe.\\nThe staff are busy having a chat rather than serving and the postman who is there collecting is constantly squeezing past the queue with no care about social distancing.\\nIn 20 minutes they didn't serve a single person, they're \\\"too busy sorting the post\\\"\\nDisgusted!

These reviews are really harsh. It's a perfectly decent, hardworking post office counter.

I send a fair few parcels and have always found the staff to be chatty, friendly and obliging. Have never had an issue.

It never opens!! Still havent got my parcel after 2 weeks!! Been a few times I took day off to get my parcel during weekdays when it says open on its opening hours. However, it is all closed. Surprised how can they always find reasons!
