The loveliest little cafe with yummy cakes at very reasonable prices and a fantastic welcome, especially if you bring a four-legged friend with you. In fact this may just be the most dog-friendly cafe in the world!

Nice and compact little cafe with just seven tables available. Judging by the amount of people that turned up, peered through the door, saw that it was full and walked away this is truly a gem of a place. Good fast friendly service and the tables were cleared and cleaned down as soon as they became vacant. Chunky sausage roll with chutney and a ham, cheese & red onion toasty, washed down with a cappuccino and latte were our choices. A rare find of bread pudding for dessert was (no pun intended) the icing on the cake.

Called in to Ely on a coach trip to Cromer. We walked up the high street and came across this lovely little cafe. I had a lovely warm sausage roll with chutney which was delicious and other members of the family had a toasty which came with crisps and side salad which I was told was delicious to. Very clean cafe and plenty staff and I was impressed with the way the lady cleaned the table by spraying her cloth first and not spraying the table.??

Our first visit to Ely, found this great cafe, small, (7 tables) However big friendly welcome. Excellent lunch, and Merlin enjoyed his Puppaccino. Definitely recommend.

It was wet & windy outside, and we were ready for lunch! Lovely selection of hot & cold sandwiches, jacket spuds and soups, along with cakes and pastries. Hot & cold drinks too. We had toasties and soup, and all 3 of us wanted tea so she offered a big teapot - yes please! All the food was fresh, tasty, and good value. A little dog that had been lying quietly by mummy's feet got excited when daddy stood up, and started barking, but was so cute everybody smiled. So daddy waved his paw to say thank you and goodbye. You won't get that in Sta... certain chain coffee shops! All hail our independent, local small businesses!Btw the Google photo is of the other side of the road! Look out for the red awning.

Superb cafe with wonderful home mad scones and cakes. Ifyou are in Ely and need a snack and or a cuppa you definitely need to seek this place out. The scones are enormous and the cake portions huge and delicious.

My friend and I decided to go to this cafe today for the first time and I'm so glad that we did. The tea and apple pie were very nice, the service was great, we had such a good time there. This cafe is absolutely gorgeous and I will definitely go back to try something different next time ????

My wife and I found this gem by accident and what a lucky find it was. We were greeted with friendly welcoming smiles. The chef had just baked some fresh cheese scones and the aroma was to much to resist. I ordered one with a chunk of cheddar and homemade chutney to accompany it. My wife has a huge slice of carrot cake and we also enjoyed a super pot of tea. The cafe was spotless and well lit. The staff were brilliant. The only drawback is if you do not like dogs it is dog friendly

Just looking around for a bite to eat when visiting Ely, mainly for the Cathedral, when we stepped into ?Marmalade and Jam?. Whow, how lucky can one get. The welcome was so friendly and the food was scrumptious. We both had the scones, mine a gigantic cheese scone with butter plus Stilton cheese and tomatoe chutney. My wife had a normal cream tea. A nice pot of tea to wash it down. The staff are so friendly and attentive we may have to make more that one visit per year to one of our favourite places. Long may this wonderful cafe keep going.

What a lovely wee find. We had lunch at Marmalade & Jam on 29th Aug. Cosy, welcoming environment with lovely food & staff too. We didn't have the gorgeous looking homemade scones this time but plan a return visit soon with my in-laws . The tearoom Is a stone's throw away from the beautiful Ely Cathedral and, situated in the heart of the local shops . Perfect place to stop for a bite to eat & relax before a bit more sightseeing & shopping.

Lovely chunky sandwiches, a huge pot of tea (in a proper teapot with a cup and saucer) and delicious scones that were crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Quite small inside and clearly a very popular spot as very busy. Would happily return.

This has got to be one of the best stops for scones ever. Staff are amazingly friendly. Scones are mind blowingly good. Always stop here when we come to Ely

A few mins walk from the West Door of the Cathedral, situated on the high street with the bright red canopy making it obvious, tables inside plus 2 on the pavement, v friendly meet and greet, we ate cheese scone with Stilton and chutney, toasted tea cake and a piece of deep apple pie with cream, huge portions and v v tasty, reasonably priced. It was a super afternoon tea and we will revisit. Many thanks.
