A great little tea place very roomy both downstairs and upstairs. Had a hot chocolate sitting with views of the cathedral upstairs. Very quiet location too.
Staff were super chilled and allowed us to stay and relax whilst they cleaned up around us. Definetely have your afternoon tea there. Thank you guys.

Somehow this was my first time here, but I?m really impressed. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and my sandwich was a real delicious treat! Wonderful looking cakes too - I?ll have to try them next time. Love it.

Not impressed with the service. We ordered a sausage and caramelised onion baguette. 50 minutes later it arrived???we are still waiting for an apology for the delay. The cafe wasn?t overly busy either. Food was ok when it eventually arrived, nothing to write home about.

I callee in yesterday to buy a,sandwich to eat after meeting, bag needs to be bigger as by the time I got to eat the bread looked lovely but some was,horrible and dry, also had an egg mago but goodness it was so strong I couldn't even eat it, so sorry lovely staff but took down by river to enjoy and it was,awful

Had a couple of jacket potatoes here today with drinks. Service was quick and friendly, sat in a window overlooking the high street which was nice for watching people pass by. The food itself was nice, our jacket potatoes were filled with coronation chicken and tuna and sweetcorn. Portion sizes weren't massive, but nothing to complain about really. Would have preferred a properly baked spud, but unfortunately we didn't get those here. Fair does. Price wise, cheaper than some in Ely. Nice views of the cathedral.

Met with friendly welcome however service very slow. This wouldn't have been an issue if there were positives about the food. The wrong order came but there was back and forth between wait staff and myself over what the order was which was just odd. The cups for tea were not clean, I asked for a clean one but was met with hostility. When the drinks came most of the boiling water from the teapot was poored on the table. This is hazardous and could have been poured on a customer. The woman serving was holding the glass for water underneath her arm - unhygenic and unprofessional. All of this could have been avoided if basic care was taken by bringing drinks on a tray. The food was average at best. I noticed a number of customers asking to be served after waiting prolonged periods. It was a Saturday around 1pm but there were plenty of staff.

Had a gluten free version of the Satay vegetables Baguette (which is vegan) which cost £6.90. It was generously filled with roasted vegetables like peppers and courgettes. Though there was not much of a 'satay' taste, it was yummy and I liked the fact that the gluten free bread had seeds in it rather than being white bread. I asked for it to be toasted and I can recommend. It was warm and filling and wholesome. Gluten free bread is smaller than the gluten full bread, but this is to be expected everywhere and it was made up for by the generous amount of filling.Lovely service and a great location.They had lots of unique food options on the menu which I haven't see in any other cafe, and I loved the creativity and choice.They have jacket potatoes and salad options too. Baguettes, toasties and sandwiches. Cake options also.No matcha or tumeric latte available that I could see, but a good tea selection.Ordered a take away but they let me use their bathroom.Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread availableVegan options

Good food, good prices. Staff always seem busy so hard to get hold of them when you're after something, but service was quick.

This lovely tea room has indoor seating but also has seats outdoors at the back looking onto the cathedral. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our food was freshly prepared and tasty. Would definitely go back.

Excellent tea room with quirky upstairs. Friendly staff with good service, even at lunch time. Delicious food, the breakfast scone is inspired. Highly recommend.
