I come here regularly and it never disappoints. TVs that can be seen from any table to watch sport And food is always great. Would recommend.

Drinks and bar service was ok.
We came here 12 months ago and the food service was slow and the chips were not very nice, afraid to say it hasn?t changed? when we ordered at the bar there was no mention of a 40 minute wait for food and the chips were cold, the burger itself was OK but the salad was not overly fresh and the veg served with a steak and ale pie was revolting, the peas were like bullets.
Lots of TVs if you want to see footy, light wasn?t working in the gents loo so cubicle was in darkness and there were plenty of tables waiting to be cleared / wiped over.
Ok for a drink?but eat somewhere else.

Me and my partner come to the Hereward regularly with our little girl for food and drinks. It has never disappointed. The food is always lovely, staff welcoming and an all round lovely atmosphere. We?ve also come out for the live bands which we return for monthly.

This is a good pub but few let downs. Toilets were not the cleanest I've seen, we got served a couple of badly damaged glasses one of which had half the rim missing my wife nearly cut her lip. Upon point this out bar staff just shrugged like it was nothing. (an apology at least or offer of a drink would not have hurt)they do have drink deals and it is cheap for food and drink but we did not eat here so cannot comment. Pub does seem a bit run down in need of renovation but it's okay for what it is.

Good town pub owned by the Stonehouse Group. Had breakfast there. Food good. Friendly staff.

Been twice for lunch in the last month, and I love it there.
Staff on both occasions were very nice, friendly and helpful.
And the food was amazing! I had fish & chips. Beautifully cooked and fresh. Going back a for a sunday roast ?
Just a little moan. Tables and chairs need to be cleaned between customers.

Love this place, quick and tasty perfect for the summer too. Very cool, outside seating at both sides of the pub. Sit in the sun or shade

Quiet when we got there about 11.30am.
Decent deals on the menu with some meals Inc a free soft drink or upgrade to certain alcohol drinks for an extra £1.50.
Plenty of screens showing a few different sports and booths with tv's
One pool table.
A comfortable, well maintained pub
