Would give 0 stars if I could. I had my cam belt and water pump done April 2023 and cost £654. The cars done about 2300 miles and overheated on me in September. Finally managed to get it stripped down and found a bolt had been dropped in behind the water pump that they fitted. Another £400 on parts and they won?t even entertain the fact that it?s their technicians fault. I will be getting the money back one way or another!

When we went to collect the car Kia Niro the floor mats had been removed. I asked where the floor mats were and was told that cars don't come with floor mats. Not wanting to delay taking the car I left it. A cheap car sales trick. I emailed about it but it was ignored. Check your car carefully incase they remove things before collection.

Ignored by three people staring at computer screens. Told by one gentleman he doesnt sell cars as he walked away. Wouldn't buy a cup of coffee from this extremely rude establishment.

I didn't even want to give 1 star, but that's the least i could give.
I brought my car from EMG had a few minor issues with it, which they sorted. Was sold as full service history but 5 months down the line, it broke down with gearbox faults. I took this to a main dealer, who advised me that the gearbox service has never been done, so it was overdue by 25,000 miles!!! Really great service history...not!
After I managed to get the main dealer near me to service the gearbox, I was still having gearbox faults.
From reading about the faults I was having with it and speaking with people, this needed a gearbox specialist. I arranged for this to be taken over an hour away for this to be repaired, it was off road with the specialists for about 2 weeks, who were kind enough to provide a like for like courtesy vehicle.
it has now been repaired and and having to pay just over £3500 for the repairs!
When contacting EMG they couldn't care, no assistance or help to cover the costs (Considering the car was EXPENSIVE to buy from them).
So overall, I will NEVER recommend EMG, especially ELY branch.
The only advice I have is AVOID this place like the plague.

Leaving 1 star because I can?t leave 0 stars, what an absolute joke this place is, dirty and damaged vehicles and majorly insulted us today on their valuation of my trade in vehicle which greatly outshone anything they have on their forecourt, was ready to do a deal and they literally took the piss and I told them so before leaving, hang your heads in shame EMG Ely sale lost today and a customer lost forever and many more I will tell about my experience with you.

Car booked in for MOT last week, great customer service, front staff very friendly, especially Sleyde informing me of the process and when my car passed! and knowledgeable and welcoming. very positive experience would recommend!!

Wouldn't recommend this place for MOT. The day after I dropped my vehicle off I was told it failed due to high emissions (I had to call them up to find out what was going on). Then for some reason they kept it whole week before proceeding with fixing it, and even then they had no idea what to do to bring those emissions down. They went by a checklist which they use for guidance doing all sorts of cleaning, multiple dpf regens, changing oil and filters etc. none of which fixed the problem. Took them another week before telling me that they don't know what else to do with it, and at the end slapped me with £680 bill for all that (apparently heavily discounted). I ended up taking it to another garage and not only did they start working on it straight away, but also found the same problem and fixed it on the same day without any checklist and only charged me £99 including MOT.

Visited EMG Motor Group recently as we were looking for a specific vehicle. Luckily, there was one left! They have a very nice showroom and lots of cars to browse in their outside area. It deals mainly with Kias.We found the staff and manager extremely helpful and accommodating and would recommend it!

Good friendly garage nothing to much trouble and if things go wrong they are straight on it to fix and get sorted for you well done to Michael the salesman for doing us a good deal and big thank you to Shane the service manager for getting our car in and fixed after a minor glitch
