Not stopped here for years and years, in fact I had all but forgotten that this place was still here. A closure on the A1 forced s diversion, and I was in need of a toilet break.
On entering, we were greeted by the wonderful staff who asked if they can help. Clean and spacious. We had a lovely fresh cooked breakfast and tea.
And the cost, is impressive.
Stibbington is back on the alternative places to stop at when cruising down the A1.

Had a fry up here 2 weeks ago and still thinking about it now ?
It was rustled up super quickly with very friendly service and every single element of the breakfast was bang on, nursing my hangover back to health.
It was the type of breakfast worth being hungover for to enjoy it all the more.
What was most surprising was how not greasy it was ? usually I feel slow, sticky and greasy after a big breakfast but this one set me up perfectly for the day!

After a long day driving as a trucker, you may be forgiven in thinking that this is a decent place to stop.
Let me assure you, if you want good service and good showers/toilets, then you're in for a rough time.
The attitude of the staff is poor, the toilets stink of wee more than any other truck stop I have stayed at. The showers, 1 is out of order, 1 push button shower doesn't work, you'd have to keep your hand on it all the way through. Severe drainage and mold issues, it's a disaster waiting to happen.
Can't think of any positive things to say about this truck stop. Avoid.
Didn't try the food/drink, so can't comment on that.

We broke down near the diner and the staff took great care of us while we were waiting for recovery. Especially with our 3 year old. Really welcoming and kind when we were very stressed. Couldn?t of broken down in a better place

First time I've used this truck stop .I was short on time so pulled in . Everyone has there own opinion but for me not that bad of a place to park up. It's definitely an old school truck stop but that's what I like. When you arrive you will be greeted by the the staff on the entrance. And what a lovely bloke .it's only £25 to park for the night and with that you get £3 off your meal.food was good I enjoyed it I had cottage pie chips and veg .the members of staff in the restaurant were very nice. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy . The only think they may want to look at is the parking area as its full of pot holes. But apart from that a very nice place. I will be using it again.
