What a wonderful place! We travelled from Littleport to come to visit at Chatteris and was worth the drive. Delicious cakes and great tea/coffee! All looked amazing, even the lunch food coming out and past us. Will defo be back!

Always love a visit to Nana's for coffee and cake. The café is bright and cheerful, as are the lovely ladies that run it.
The new parent coffee mornings were an absolute god send during maternity leave. It got me out the house and meeting other new parents in the area. Such a brilliant idea!

Today, whilst attending the Yarndale Show in Skipton, we had a ride on the shuttle bus into the town. We turned the corner and there was the lovely Nana's tearoom. I'm known as Nana to my grandchildren so I couldn't just walk past. The food and drinks were tasty and well presented.

NB The correct name for this entry is Nana?s Tea Room.\n\nIn the rather nondescript and very quiet town centre of Chatteris, Nana?s Tea Room felt like a bit of an oasis. It is a very smart place with some attractive faux exposed brick walls, as well as nice decor and furnishings.\n\nThey have a short menu of savoury snacks as well as sandwiches and cakes, and I like their idea of small, savoury platters with finger sandwiches, a piece of sausage roll and a piece of quiche. Idea snack food and ?British Tapas? in effect.\n\nWe were only here for coffees which were excellent, and the service was charming.\n\nThis is a really lovely tearoom.

Today was the first time we had visited Nana's Tea Room, and it certainly won't be the last. We were greeted with a smile and sat down at one of the tables. On first impressions, it felt like an old fashioned traditional tearoom from a time when people genuinely cared about one another, and where tasty homemade food was served, and our opinion didn't change. The tearooms themselves are comfortable with nice decor, and there is plenty of space between tables, so you don't feel like you are too close to the next table.I had an egg mayonnaise sandwich and it was delicious, as was the tuna melt my daughter had. We both ordered hot drinks and orange juice and it was served very quickly. The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly, and it was a joy to have our lunch there. It was also extremely good value for money.Thank you Nana's.......we will see you again soon ?
