Terrible customer service,my partner was stuck in traffic traveling 30 mins away from Cambridge and lady was very unhelpfull saying he only got 5minutes to be late otherwise they can't see him.Then when ge got there they did the eye test and after purchading 2 pair of expensive glasses they wrong prescription.So he had to go back for the third time.Waist of fuel,parking chargers etc...

Went in for an eye test, appointment booked for 10:20 and was made aware of 5 min late policy but even after arriving at only 10:26 was told I couldn?t be seen due to missing the cut off due to it taking longer than expected to park up. Wasted parking money just because I was 60 seconds over the deadline. Bit harsh.

Absolutely disgusting place, book an appointment for 16:55 arrive on time but no one at the desk, finally someone comes over to be told we are 5 minutes late and can?t be seen, absolutely fuming ?

On a positive lead, the optician was friendly came across as proficient spent time listening to my questions. The pre-appointment helper was polite.Now the negatives, I came across one person in front of me and waited over 15 minutes to be spoken to by anyone. I asked if anyone had spoken to the person in front of me and they said they had not.There were 3 assistants in the main shop two sitting with clients and one doing a very 'hard sale' on a customer.When I was finally spoken to, I was sat down and I waited another 15 minutes to be seen, even though the appointment before me had been canceled.After my appointment, I was taken to the frame section where the only options shown were the very high-priced products, even after I mentioned that cost was an issue. I was then sat down in front of a computer with a privacy screen on so I could not see the costs being put in, which made it feel like they were hiding something, and to be honest, the prices being given to me, are so much higher than other locations, £140 for a reglaze, on top of the cost for the lenses, when I mentioned the cost again they magically decreased.Overall, lack of staff, front-line staff dismissive, and a very hard sales technique.Shame really, they once had such a good rep.

Funny fact: they will give you a complete prescription for the glasses if you only buy it from them. They refuse to measure distance between eyes without selling your glasses.

I went I today to buy two sets of glasses and I came out with none and the intention of cancelling my long standing contact lens contract.I asked about a discount on sunglasses and was told it was half price for the frames and that the price shown included single vision lenses.I chose a pair and after a long wait ,where your numerous staff members ignored me, I went to buy them and I'm told that in fact the price would be double the shown price..How?No discount mentioned, we only spoke about add one to the original price.Maybe some staff training would help...What do u think...?Hopeless shambles..

Went for twice for service. Need to wait for half hour even there is no customer in the store. The staff then responded they forgot. But the service is professional at the end.

The staff are atenttive and caring, I was given a very accurate prescription and the glasses and frames were both excellent and very competitively priced.

I had a recent eye test at Vision Express in Cambridge and I was very satisfied with the total professionalism and thorough process. The follow up attention helping me to choose spectacles was also impressive. I had a call back the following day because they wanted to double check on my pressures. They were satisfactory and I appreciated this extra care. Thank you.

I have been with then over ten years. I had feeling the service quality is going down hill. Very disappointed with the staffs in my recent visit. It seems they didn't have experienced/well-trained staffs any more. Only junior staffs had no idea how to detail with simple technical issues. Cost save strategy?

Fantastic opticians. Very professional friendly service from Priya. Everything explained clearly. I have now changed to varifocals and extremely happy as now can see up close easily again. Great after sales service and choice of frames.

Very good experience getting my eyes examined and fitted for new glasses. The optometrist was very professional, talking me through my first pair of varifocal lenses. The person helping select and fit the glasses was very thorough and attentive. Excellent service, I was very satisfied.
