Id been having bad headaches & doctor recommended an eye test. I arrived and was told that as my eye test was not due until next year they would give me a thorough eye health check & would be charged £10 & not £30! The test was very indepth & thankfully all was well. Anna at the Cambridge store was lovely!

I had an excellent visit to Vision Express Cambridge today. The store was very busy but I was seen within seconds of arriving for my pre-eye test checks and then whisked into my eye test with Anna immediately after. Anna was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and she took time talking me through my eye test results.
I then spent time with Riaz choosing a new pair of glasses. Again, fantastic customer service. Riaz, whilst new to the store, was really helpful, and patient and made me laugh too! Good choice of glasses in this city centre store.
Even the call I received to confirm my appointment was lovely - friendly, professional.
An excellent experience from start to finish.

Extremely disappointing experience. I submitted my frame for new glasses as an emergency since I was traveling for a month, and they provided an expected delivery date. However, six days past that date, my glasses were still not ready, despite them agreeing to prioritise the order. I eventually had to request a refund, and the entire process took an entire month.
Better to go with Specsavers or boots.

Emma is absolutely sensational. Even during an extremely busy Saturday she was able to help and assist me with purchasing some glasses. I attended the Cambridge store earlier in the day, browsing. Seeing how incredibly busy the store was, coupled with having my 2 babies with me we decided to think about things. After doing so I called the branch several hours later and spoke to Emma. Even knowing it was still so busy she took the time to help me buy the glasses over the phone. Her personal, helpful and insightful approach was absolutely brilliant and should be rewarded. A true example of demonstrating customer service, thank you.

A very thorough examination was very satisfied and the organisation of my 2 new glasses was very friendly abd informative.
However i think the process of buying glasses is very longwinded and should be more streamlined.

An update to this review.
We have been with Vision Express for a few years now. Every time we go in, whether it?s for an appointment, repair, query etc it?s never any problem and they?re always so friendly. Louise, my contact lady, is more like a friend.
I transferred here from Specsavers after shocking treatment and products, at one point their rudeness even reducing me tears.
Vision Express was like a breath of fresh air!
They?re also fantastic with our daughter who has special needs and needs her glasses fixed regularly.
Staff are always polite and friendly and talk to our daughter about her appointment and glasses, rather than through us. Their customer service skills, in my opinion, are unrivalled and far, far superior to Specsavers.
