Wanted to share a wonderful experience with the store yesterday.
I visited the store had bought lots of items and I appreciate the patience of the cashier Lara who served me she was so kind throughout and helped me take everything safely to the car. Many times I came to the store no one helped me get back to my rewards account but she did and it made my day as I?m getting my points now.
I definitely want to be served by her again ?

The girl Lariab at the till made my day!!! She was so helpful and so humble and kind I really loved that about her. It?s not just excellent customer service it?s promoting kindness and positivity . Will definitely come again not just to shop my favourite store but also to meet her ?

SO, IT WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU...
A while ago, I wrote a good review about TK Maxx. They have a good in-store service. However, I had one of the most disappointing experiences with some furniture I bought. It was for delivery. They don't offer the service but work with an external delivery company. First thing is to book it yourself and then at the counter they fill in a form with full details etc. When the delivery company went to collect them, I got a call from TK Maxx asking me what it was that I bought and, after a few minutes, they told me that one of the pieces was sold... of course, they refunded the cost of the furniture plus half of the delivery as a good gesture. If you're planning to organise delivery with them be aware that the staff is not trained for that so speak to the Manager and ensure that they know what you bought before wasting your time, energy, creating a big argument at home, etc etc etc...

I?m nearly a 40 year old mother albeit I look young and security followed me and my pre teen around constantly in this TK Maxx he wouldn?t leave us alone, he kept staring at us, singling us out and I felt so uncomfortable and didn?t want my daughter to ever be made to feel like that, he also spoke to her rudely and judgementally and flicked the sign when she was trying to look at the shade as the sticker was over the box, he didn?t do this to anyone else and proceeded to stalk us, I made my daughter put back her things and left, I am so upset! It was suppose to be a nice treat on a Friday after hospital, I used to love tk maxx and feel like I never want to go shopping again!
I would also like to see this security guard behave like this to a grown man but he clearly targets girls, this isn?t ok behaviour and targeting and stalking girls for no other reason than his own judgement is not ok and he isn?t ?just doing his job? he is in the wrong.

The most organised TKMAXX I?ve known, staff are always a pleasure and stock seems to be regularly updated. Hands down my favourite shop in Cambridge.

I recently visited this store on the 8th of May and had a very bad experience with the manager. She was extremely rude and condescending. She needs to go through training again as a customer service assistant let alone as a manager. Her demeanour is cold and she doesn?t set a good example as a manager. I had some eyelashes and scissors in my hand when walking up to the till. She didn?t greet me at all and straight away asked for my ID very aggressively. I didn?t have my ID with me, and the items were taken, which is fine. I ended up buying one item. She tried signing me up to the rewards card, which I kindly agreed to. She advised me to scan the QR code, which I did but it was taking ages to load on my phone and I said to her that I will do this at home instead as I have my sister waiting for me outside. I proceeded to pay and wasn?t offered a receipt and left with the rewards card and my one item. I didn?t realise that a receipt wasn?t given as I was in a rush. 2 days later on the 10th of May I came back to the store to return this item as it has a high cancer warning. As I didn?t have my receipt I had my bank statement loaded on my phone with the exact transaction which stated the date and time of the purchase. The manager (CHRISTINA) was at the till, but was already serving. I explained the situation to the cashier and she called. CHRISTINA over. She immediately had an attitude and said very rudely that she did in fact give me a receipt. I explained to her that she didn?t and I was only given a rewards card. She kept repeating the fact that she gave me a receipt. In the end she approved me exchanging the item after going back and forth. The cashier exchanged the item and Christina went back to her till to serve. Once again she repeated that she did give me the receipt. The encounter was over, but she felt the need to say this again. I was with my cousin who asked the cashier for the name of the manager. She said it was Christina to which my cousin replied with ?is that your manager, she?s nice?. The staff member replied sarcastically with ?very?. It?s very obvious that she intimidates her staff.

TK Maxx Cambridge is a great place for bargain hunters and fashion lovers alike. The store is well-organized, with a wide variety of clothing, shoes, accessories, and home items at discounted prices. I was impressed by the range of brands available ? you never know what hidden gems you might find! The staff were helpful and polite, and the location is very convenient, right in the heart of Cambridge. It can get a bit busy during peak hours, but if you're patient, it's totally worth it. A fun spot to explore if you're looking for quality items without breaking the bank.
