For my first visit to Cambridge as a traveller, I have always preferred to purchase clothing from Tkmaxx across the United Kingdom due to the high quality and affordable prices they offer. As a traveller who enjoys exploring Cambridge, it is one of my bucket list destinations. When I encountered this Tkmaxx store, I felt compelled to enter and purchase some clothes for my return home.
However, the staff member?s name was ANNA, and she had short blonde hair. Unfortunately, her demeanour was not friendly. While my mother and I were searching for clothes, she kept observing us. When we inquired about fitting the clothes we wanted to buy, she insisted that we could only fit one item at a time. While my mother was busy searching for the restroom, she responded rudely, informing us that there was none available.
Fortunately, another staff member nearby responded with a smile and informed us that there was a restroom in the nearby Taco Bell. As we were about to leave, I approached Anna and asked if it would be acceptable to leave the clothes with her and comeback to fit the remaining items. However, she was extremely rude and insisted that we hang the clothes back and return them when we come back to complete the fitting. If we did not purchase the clothes, she demanded us to hang them back! Seriously?!
Such an attitude from the staff is not beneficial to the company .

I visited Cambridge store in Market street yesterday.
I was pleasantly surprised by how tidy and well laid out the shop floor was.
Easy to move around and everything was easy to find.
A big shout out goes to Asifa !!!
Working on the payment till.
She was completely professional and helpful throughout my visit.
This lady knows how to treat customers and clearly knows her business and the stock.
Most importantly she had eye contact with me throughout.
We chatted about my purchases.
Sadly this happens rarely in most other chains.
You are lucky to have her working at TK Maxx.
An asset to your company.
It's a 10/10 from me ?

I have been in this store, had a really great experience. Staff were really friendly specially the lady on the tills?Asifa? was really friendly, helpful and professional. Overall store was really tidy and easy to shop around. Really excited to visit the store again.

I had a £30 gift card. The checkout person took £29.98 from the gift card but I bought other goods at the same time over £70! He charged the total so I was 2p short and kept the gift card. How many other customers are getting this? Some checkout staff are thieves, and this is fraud?
The security guards are intimidating and look at everyone as though a shoftlifter!
Terrible shopping experience.

There wasn't the selection I hoped for but the sales assistant on the first floor, Cambridge City centre, was very pleasant and efficient.

Always fab finds in here at good prices! Set over 3 floors there is so much stuff to look at! Staff are friendly and helpful and plenty of tills so you don't have to queue for long!

I'll never shop in here again the customer service is shocking, Example....the till girls always forget to deactivate the security tag, and today same old thing happened the alarm went off (very embarrassing) once again, when I went to get the item deactivated no one was coming up to me to help, so went up to the girl who served me than the other woman (jobs worth) said "in a very rude tone" you can't come behind tills...."I wouldn't off had to if someone did their job properly and deactivated the security tag or came up to me to sort it out".
Awful customer service.

A great shop for a bargain wether its for clothing , household items ,toys , buy it when you see it as usually not replaced but always a bargain to be had . Ideally placed in the centre of Cambridge .Christmas time there are plenty of ideas for presents .
