I?ve had my shoes stretched here once before - on the 2nd occasion Daniel was on shift; asked if I wanted to try them on, found me a stool, and waited see how they fit and upon finding one was still a little tight offered to re-stretch it for me in the same session (free of charge)! So so kind and friendly, really grateful to have come today! Will definitely be back.

I arrived 30mn before it closed, the time was clearly written on the outside, and it matched what Google said. The person claimed it was closed and refused to take my suit for dry cleaning, which would have taken like 3mn.

Ridiculous shop. Went in to see if they did wood engraving for a jewellery box I had. Said no. However they DID sell plaques which they could engraved. But didn't tell me. Found that out myself online. so went in again and the worker had a real attitude problem. Was annoyed at me asking what size plaques they had and how long it would take. Huffing and puffing as I asked. Turned out they did have the right size and could get it done in time. But their attitude meant they lost a customer.

The person working at the shop is extremely sweet. It was the first time I came to this shop and I needed a small repair (a bit of glue) on my shoes, he did it for me free of charge!

I was impressed with the new (half) soles and heels on my very old Clarkes brogues which had lost all the rubbery grip parts. It's a cliche but they do look 'as new'. The changes were well explained when I left the shoes, it was done same day, and cost £30.

Dennis was most efficient at cutting my two front door keys - didn?t even have to take them off my large key ring! All done in about 60 seconds. Service with a smile. Recommended.

I went in to get a leather boot repaired and the gentleman was very helpful. As it only needed glueing he didn't charge me which was very generous of him :)
