If i could give 0 I would. These are the rudest members of staff, they walk away when you ask them questions and look at you like your asking them to give you the world. The secretly guard stares at me a young small girl and never ever notices when someone actually steals. I don't know what's wrong with these people but I've never hated going into a Tesco so much. All the staff smell like sweat too. They don't even have necessary feminine products most of the time

Apparently more than three to figure out how a coffee machine works?
Now, I?m a regular at this little Tesco. Most mornings, I pop in for a Costa coffee and a pastry before heading out on my walk. It?s been a bit of a ritual for me since Christmas ? something small to look forward to after long shifts.
But this morning? Chaos. The Costa coffee machine had decided it was going to pour a regular latte into a large cup. Not the end of the world ? things happen ? so I calmly approached a member of staff just to flag it and to ask if I could be charged for a regular latte instead. Seemed like a fair ask, right?
The first person said they didn?t know how the machine worked and called someone else over. The second person also didn?t know ? apparently it?s not Tesco?s machine, it belongs to Costa. Okay, fair enough, I get that. I wasn?t asking them to fix it, I just didn?t want to be charged for something I didn?t get.
By this point, more than 15 minutes had passed. I?d been bounced between staff and finally to a manager who ? instead of helping ? got defensive and told me they?d have to pour another drink to ?check.? What exactly were they trying to prove? That I didn?t know how to press a button? That, as a woman, I must?ve obviously done it wrong?
Let me be very clear: I know how those machines work. I?ve used them every day for months. I also know when something?s been recalibrated ? someone from Costa had clearly changed the settings. But rather than listening or just showing a little bit of common sense, they wanted me to stand there and watch while a man did exactly what I?d done ? just to prove a point.
At that moment, all I wanted was a coffee. After finishing a long, emotionally draining shift in the NHS, all I needed was five minutes of peace with a hot drink before I cleared my head. Instead, I was made to feel like a nuisance, questioned, dismissed, and ultimately overcharged.
It?s such a shame, because I?ve supported this store nearly every day for months. But the way I was treated this morning ? like I was trying to pull a fast one over a coffee ? was genuinely disheartening. There was no empathy, no understanding, and no willingness to treat a regular customer with a shred of decency.
So sadly, Tesco, I?ll be taking my loyalty ? and my coffee breaks ? elsewhere. All I wanted was a coffee. Not a debate. Not an investigation. Just a cup of coffee.

I saw a guy trying to buy tobacco and he obviously was struggling with language skills , and the elderly lady serving him was rude, her whole demeanour was abrasive and just looked like she did not want to be there , maybe go over how to speak to people with her again. Just sad to watch

A standard Tesco Express. Nothing particularly notable about the shop itself. The customers and outside area on the other hand have some very notable points. Junkies and travelers hang around fighting and loitering. The shop could probably perform much better with some decent security, or straight up just not being in Chesterton. Amazed this place hasn't been looted or burned to the ground already
