Terrible experience with the cashier who scanned our items. His attitude was absolute hell. He sat in a bloody lazy position, throwing our items into our trolley, all the way from his seat when we didn?t ask him to. He threw the items with great force, causing my biscuits to break. My brother was paying while I was on the other side of the belt, putting groceries into the shopping bag; there was no need for him to be throwing stuff around.

Terrible experience.
Me and my friends (all >26yo, married couples) tried to buy alcohol free beer, one of our friends had id. We were refused to do so.
After we left the store, our friends came back and bought alcohol free beer on the cash desk, nobody even asked about id

Very Unhelpful staff. My partner returned items bought because he forgot to use his club card coupons but he will still buy it just to use the money off. Anyway, the customer service says no we can't as the date on the coupon is torn, but the barcode is available. We said just scan it as it will tell you anyway that if it's valid but she adamantly and rudely says no I'm not doing that. Not helpful, dismissive and doesn't even know what customer service is. We left so as not to argue and went to another Tesco store in Fulbourn and they happily said it is okay as long as the barcode is good to scan as it will tell yoj otherwise if it is expired. EXACTLY WHAT WE SAID to that lady in Newrmarket road. This happened few weeks ago but I think Management should retrained them to listen and be helpful and if they are not sure ask their manager don't pretend you know as clearly you don't. Not shopping in this corner

Talking about the car park, not Tesco.
Highly not recommend for car owners parking overnight in there. Some nasty people are there for playing their bikes with rude behavior. Even I booked overnight in there for parking but finally I gave up for our safety and my car as well.

Very rude, incompetent staff. Michelle on "customer services" is as useful as a chocolate teapot. This store is a shambles.

Good supermarket with a baby changing room / parents room that is separate to the toilets. Equipped with all the essentials although not a huge amount of space to navigate turning the pram.
I had a poor experience with a couple of suspicious men leaving the room before I arrived, but the security chap and customer services took it seriously and double-checked the room.

Always a lovely place to get groceries. Low prices and club card discount on items. They have a lot of house hold items and fresh fruits available. Give it a try

Update: things have gone from bad to worse. Although there is a queue half the self service tills are closed. Then the tills that are open stop working requiring a member of staff but they are busy chatting and joking amongst themselves to notice. Finally when they do attend the non functioning tills other people just wander past and jump the queue and the staff do nothing. It's been a while since I tried Tesco and I wish I hadn't.
Tesco is still doing a pointless rearrangement of the store making it even more difficult to find anything. They have separated the meats from the chicken by dotting them around the store so that it feels like a treasure hunt to find anything. Even when after asking staff you find the location the products are nearly passed their sell by date and there is very little choice for a so-called supermarket. It certainly appears to me that Tesco is hell bent on treating its customers as a herd that need to be confused during their shopping experience making it easier for them to be fleeced in the process.
