Barely any staff at the store. You wait at the til wasting your precious time.

I visited the store yesterday. A man loaded three boxes of beer and just walked out of the shop. There was no security, and the alarms did not go off. I rushed to find staff, but no one was to be found in the store. Later, two staff members appeared. I told them what happened, and they didn't seem the slightest bit worried. Not fazed at all. It's a shame that the store has no security !!

It's a disturbing reality when you realise the Co-Op across the street is 2/3x cheaper than the Tesco Express... it should be the other way around!

Best part is the post office counter, worst are some of the staff who stock shelves to save themselves smiling too much.

I was going to leave a low rating, but I feel the need to describe my experience. We had just arrived in the UK, we were really hungry and I recommended that we go to Tesco. It was when I arrived at this Tesco, the fond memories I had of this fascinating establishment from precious trips were no longer the same. It was like visiting a long lost friend that had gone downwards and was now in need of desperate help.We circled the aisles three times and still had an empty basket. The prices, the quality of food..nothing was appealing! I desperately tried to find my beloved minstrels. Alas, they were behind another brand of chocolates in the wrong box, I would not have found them if it wasnt for packets of other lollies strewn across the floor- it is okay! Michaela has travelled 42 hours to do your job for you! We slowly walked to the fridge and encountered the most depressing sandwhich we had ever seen. You could see where the cheese was hardening and going dark, wedged in between two dry slices of bread. 'What in Gods name do they eat here?' I said loudly in shock. I felt very sad for the British people. Minimal sunlight, tasteless food. The sushi looked hardened like plastic so we opted for some pot noodles. We did not have covid but this had no taste, my goodness even the Vodka had more flavour! The British had conquered so many countries with exotic spices, yet the food tasted like wet cardboard. We donated the pot noodles to the cleaner of our hotel instead. I advise anyone that arrives in Cambridge to go down the road instead to the Train station a 5 minute walk away where it is more affordable and the quality of food is fresh and easy to find. I am not angry at this place, I only feel sorry for them. Oh Tesco, how you have sadly changed.

The good: Convenient place & Post OfficeThe bad: Most of the usual groceries are a few days before their expiration date, common practice.
