I had a very uncomfortable experience at this store. While shopping, I noticed a security guard following me, which made me feel extremely singled out. I was using Scan and Shop, and when I got to the till, I was flagged for a 20-item spot check. I understand random checks happen, but the way it was handled felt targeted.
To make things worse, one of my items had a tag that needed to be removed, and the staff member who assisted me was unprofessional. The combination of being followed, flagged, and then treated poorly made me feel like I was being racially profiled.
Everyone deserves to shop in an environment where they feel safe and respected. This experience was disappointing and left me feeling unwelcome.

If you are going to close early at least have the decency to update the opening times on google maps. Thanks a lot for wasting customers' time. Shopping exclusively at Aldi from now on.

Had to give 1 star because there is no option to leave zero. Filthy unfriendly store. Managers seem more interested in 'messing' around with colleagues and eating on the shop floor. Never any tills open. Avoid at all costs.

I was treated like a thief because I bought and paid for some lamb steaks. The faulty security alarm went off despite the fact I had paid for all my shopping. I was stopped and interrogated by a moronic guard at the exit which could not understand that the receipt showed I paid for the steaks so this is proof I had paid for it. I was lucky I printed the receipt because if I didn't have it they would hold me up there.
I am not shopping here again. Tesco is a dump for thieves and fools.

It's got everything you need, big store, cafe, money exchange, keys cut, money exchange, pharmacy, vision express, barbers, ATM and petrol station with car wash.

We were using one of the self-checkout kiosks and out of the blue we were rudely interrupted by a young, white girl with dark hair in Tesco uniform, "Can I just...?" That's all she said, then, basically, bulldozed in between me (brown) and my wife (white) to use the till to print out, what appeared to be, the last receipt. Then just left. We then watched her walk out shortly after at the end of her shift. I mentioned race only so that you can check the actual incident on your cctv, it was between 5pm and 6pm on Tues the 9th of July 2024.
No, "so sorry or excuse me, can/may I quickly do this thing" and after she was done, no thank you or any show of gratitude or appreciation. What sort of rude idiots are you employing here? She has definitely gotten that job because of her looks. What on earth is your process? My wife occasionally receives favourable treatments because of her looks but I can assure you that she was not brought up to be a rude person, otherwise she wouldn't be a highly qualified individual with a high earning job. If you are working in retail, learn basic bloody manners. More importantly, tesco must do better in training their staff. Then again, I suspect you just don't give a damn anymore.

Im very disappointed and sorry to say that we have been weekly visiting this Tesco in Milton CAMBRIDGE for the last 10 years. Today the cashier Louisa was very rude. She did not say hallo when I came to her, her first words to me were do I have a clubcard. I showed her my clubcard on my phone and with an attitude she said cant accept that. I said , oh strange as I use it at other Tescos. She then said with an attitude again, ?we don?t accept photos?. I said fine and paid. Im disappointed in her lack in customer service. She didn?t greet me or even explained why my clubcard on a photo was not valid. There is a way if saying things. It also will mean a lot to be greeted politely.
