“Excellent Post Office, well run with great opening hours. Efficient and very helpful staff. Always 2 or more tills open so even if a queue which is rare, it moves quickly. Open all day Saturday and even if closed in the evenings and on Sundays the shop check outs can often help with parcels or other Post Office business. Really do recommend this place as the best Post Office in Cambridge.”

“A surprisingly large selection for a local supermarket. Many Polish and Asian products. They have machines serving fwip ice cream, Tango slushies, f'real shakes & smoothies, Costa coffee & hot chocolate, Rollover hot dogs, plus some sausage rolls.”

“Been going here in all its former iterations for over 40 years (I remember when there was a separate freezer centre when that was a fad in the 70s). Often quiet in the evenings and well stocked. However, I believe there are too few people, especially looking after the self-service tills, putting too much pressure and stress on staff. Supermarkets need to rethink staffing in this area, either resource it correctly or have no one and accept the collateral pilferage. Board members should also lobby government to change ridiculous rules such as having to get approval to purchase a packet of paracetamol”

“Shelves always full of items their customers want... School children get their lunches here, and their sweeties & fizzy drinks, mums get the fresh veggies & fruit & meat, bakery, toiletries, dad's can get their cans! Plus a free cash machine. It's our village general shop, we'd be list without it!”

He helped me to sort out and transfer all the necessary things from the old mobile to the new one. He has excellent customer service and is a real credit to Tesco's Mobile Phone Shop at Bar Hill.”

“Decent selection of almost everything, even if it's a bit more expensive than it should be, it's worth it for the convenience. Some good offers on multi buys such as pizzas and drinks. The self checkouts are good to see in a smaller shop and often saves time. Usually only a couple of staff members working and they are always full of sarcasm which makes up for not having anyone behind the counter. Also hasn't been ram raided in a while which is nice”

“very convenient to buy food before going on the train it’s not cheap like other places but it has great food m&s never disappoint me, the self checkouts make it easy to quickly go in and out so that even if you don’t have a lot of time before your train leave you can probably make it and buy something in less than 2 minutes. there are always only around 3 people in the store when I go there so it’s never crowded and easy to go around the store and the ready meals are right at the front of the store”

“Definitely not the best Coop in town, but what do you expect from a small store at the junction? It has 24/7 ATM, basic needs, parking space even if it’s limited. It serves its purpose well, fair and square”

“It's a nice enough grocery - judged on the standard of a local grocery store rather than a superstore. I'm not too impressed but there's just not that much that can be crammed into this small of a location. The aisles are narrow, there aren't that many tills, and the selection is okay - but the location is convenient to my flat and the prices are good.”

“A wide range of products and produce in a small store. Air conditioned and with many self serve checkouts, it offers a quick and convenient place to have a quick grocery shop. Includes stationary, alcohol, fresh vegetable and fruit. Also an ATM on the outside of the building on the East side.”

“Staff is decent, hard not to be though, I could argue that it's ever so slightly understaffed typically, one employee more per shift would work well, currently wait times are on the cusp of being slightly annoying.

stock is decent, better than the last store but could do with some improvement, sometimes certain products aren't in stock, and it's semi frequent; just in time stocking isn't good for this small scale, keep slightly more stock of products that don't expire quickly, then when near expiration have clearance, I doubt you'd lose out on any profit.

Store is clean, shelves are better managed than Tesco, I barely see products in the wrong area of a shelf, unlike Tesco which occasionally has products like crisps overlapping making it hard to tell the price at a glance.

Is who-ever is in charge of stocking going to read this? No, but I like complaining about minor stuff that I only slightly care about.”
