I cannot praise Specsavers enough at lion yard, I was meant to get hearing test today. They first looked in my ears and found I had a lot of wax and so Stacy removed the wax for me. I had been putting drops in as advertised, what a wonderful experience that was. It cost £60 but that was money very well spent as I can now hear and when I go back in the future for my hearing test I would get that £60.off of hearing aids should I need them. Lesley Godfrey

I had been this store for more than three times. Every time I was met by a chunky lady with white face and ginger hair. She has been so impatient to cut up my words unpleasantly even there was not a queue at all. Stony distant look, indifferent and arrogant EVERY SINGKE TIME. Also went through micro-aggression from another receptionist when I missed my appointment. I am done with these aggressive faces. Will go for another store for contact lenses.

Took a pair of Ray Ban Meta to get my prescriptions fitted. The process to get them was 2 weeks as explained. When I collected them I saw a lens was cracked and they had ruined the finish of the matte frames. When I told them about the lens I was told a new lens would be delivered in 2 weeks but the process may cause damage to the frames. Contacted them a month later to be told they were not ordered and they would process it ASAP and I would get a call back when they arrive. It has now been just under 4 months and I still have cracked lens with a tarnished frame that I have spent over £500+

There will always have you look at the experience glasses and not asked if you have a budget

I booked an eye test with Specsavers as I usually do every two years and have never had any issues. Once I had my test done, I found two pairs of glasses and purchased them with Anti reflection Lenses. 2 weeks later I go to collect my glasses and one of the Glasses is completely wrong frame, it?s not even the same brand. I now have to wait another two weeks for the glasses I ordered to come and need to have new lenses made for them. Yes the staff there are brilliant, but I?m not happy with the mix up of my glasses. There clearly is no quality control checks for customers, because something so simple like checking the serial number of the frames did not happen.

First time visiting the new shop, and I was impressed by the beautifully laid-out space and efficient setup. I was greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable receptionist who went above and beyond by rearranging our appointments so my daughter and I could be seen together ? something not available when booking online. The opticians were super friendly and did a great job putting my daughter at ease for her first eye test.
After the tests, a colleague guided us through the process of choosing glasses. I wanted the same pair as before, and the staff quickly checked my previous purchase and reordered them without any hassle.
The only downside was the lack of toilet facilities. Otherwise, a fantastic experience!
