Went in to use the post office service of popping some cash in my bank and the man who served me didn?t once speak, not hello, not goodbye! Nothing, not a word passed his lips!!!!!
And I had to prompt him to serve me!
I mean that?s if he could speak English at all tho ??
At least he could understand me so that?s something!!
I expect a little common courtesy minimum!!!
Disgraceful! And disrespectful!!
Won?t go back again
Oh and SPAR don?t bother asking me to email u, as that?s not gonna happen, I?ve said what happened upto u to deal with the poor service of ur staff!

BEWARE!!!! THEY MAKE YOUR PARCELS 'DISAPPEAR' !!!! THEY DO NOT SCAN THE PARCELS PROPERLY AND THEN CLAIM THAT THOSE WERE LOST IN TRANSIT AND BLAME ALL ON THE CARRIERS!!!!!
PS: The manager of the shop called and told the today's parcel was found and then he tried to blame me(!) for their pitfalls with parcel 'disappearances' that have been experienced not only by me, but by other customers as well. Now I am waiting if other parcels 'lost in transit' over the last 2 years I have been using their postal facilities, suddenly appear at the shop for me to collect.

When trying to send parcels from this shop, there is a very rude lady behind the counter who always pretends she can?t send the parcel for some reason or she says the machine is down. You have to stand there and argue with them until they try again. She also threw away my till receipt which she said proved the machine wasn?t working, but the receipt said ?user cancelled?. She threw it away after sending me to another till when I pointed this out. She will also talk about you, to other staff behind the till, while you stand there. Very strange lady - have complained to Royal Mail

It's just a nice, local, typical and familiar corner shop. I always go here for my movie night popcorn!

Went here to collect my parcel was told my parcel wasnt there...even thou I had been sent a picture of it and I could see it behind the counter on the lower shelve. The person looked at my parcel repeatedly and replied "its not yours" very odd considering it was a printed label on it.I told him it was mine and I knew it was mine because I had picture of it.I asked him to check the same large parcel again...which he did reluctantly Again I told him it was my parcel as I had picture then he said the parcel was mine.when he gave it to me. I could clearly see my name printed on it..clear as day to read...this behavior of the shop assistant has made me very suspicious of the staff. For ages he kept saying it wasnt my parcel....then suddenly it is my parcel when I inform him I have picture of it.I do not trust this employee with parcels due to his behaviour.The parcel was my daughters main christmas present as well.

If you are expecting a parcel this is the worst place to collect it from,a waste of time as their machines to process is always down expecting customers to come back later!!! this has happened 3 times now.Not a reliable service.

Very unhelpful staff. I went there to collect a parcel and they couldn?t listen to what I was asking, the only thing they were saying is that the locker was outside for collection. After one hour outside on the cold and many phone calls they said the parcel was with them. Another customer was on the same situation but she ended up going home.

Been going to the Spar shop for years the only fault I find is when they have special on a product and there is card with offer priceyou can get once at that price but if come back to buy more they have taken the card off and it is back to the normal price.Also there Hot food Sausage baps very nice but the bacon is so dry even if you collect first thing the bacon is not crispy it looks pale and rubbery plus your paying £1.99 roll and that is why I onlygo for the Sausage baps.Also sweet section is hit and miss sometimes they have good section of bagged sweet. there is hardly ever any boiled sweets.

This shop lost my package that had been delivered to them by Royal Mail. Royal MaiI had sent me a photo of the package sitting on their delivery counter - see below. I have visited this shop twice and showed them the photo, the staff were helpful enough in trying to locate it, but the package had disappeared. This should not happen! I don't know if this a regular occurrence, but I would not recommend this store for click and collect deliveries.Response to owner. You are sad about the 1* review, I was sad my package got lost!You could 'improve on your instore experience' by not losing my package!
