Pharmacist was quite late so they opened 15 minutes late. Quite a lot of people were told to come back later (other employees were there but not allowed to let people in), including quite a few elderly people. No information as to when the pharmacist would show up or when they would open. When they finally opened the medication I needed for my daughter was out of stock. This isn?t the first time that the pharmacist was late and they didn?t open on time. It seems like quite a small thing to open your doors on time or at least be able to inform those waiting when you will be opening for the day. Perhaps they should hire a pharmacist who can show up at work on time or at least provide accurate opening hours.

A little proactivity on the part of the pharmacy would be great. When meds are not available, it would be great if patients could be told e.g. a text. Please don't reply to this message with a scripted suggestion that I contact your customer care team. It would be better if you took care of customers before they leave poor feedback, otherwise take this as feedback.

Today, 15th September 2023, was our first visit to Rowlands Pharmacy and we had a pleasant experience. We were greeted by the friendliest associates, Leanne and Natasha, who stopped their tasks to tend to us sorted. Since we were new to their system, I thought that there would be a delay in getting our prescriptions filled; however, Leanne worked diligently to get us. Thanks for a lovely experience Rowlands Team; very grateful to have such kind and supportive chemists nearby!10/10, highly recommend :)

One of the most efficient pharmacies I have been to. The staff are lovely, friendly and go above and beyond for me. Highly recommended, thank you to all of you .

This pharmacy has improved tenfold from earlier in the year. They were so helpful and kind over my mothers prescription last week. They have a new team who have successfully improved the service. During the early months of the year they had problems because of the extension of their catchment area by the temporary closure of Arbury court pharmacy. Good to know I can get the prescription from an efficent outlet.

Very long cues ,had to wait outside as there was only two members of staff and they where letting people who needed there daily medication jump the cue instead of making them wait like all the others which was making everyone very annoyed and angry. I had to wait over a hour and a half for medication for my mum who has cancer and was told they were more important. Where's the fairness in that. The only good thing is all the ladies who work there are very kind and helpful and I don't have a bad word to say about them it was the manager or higher member of staff on the day who was making everyone angry.

Despite not needing a prescription drug, just an over the counter hair product, was turned away at the door and told they can't sell me anything. And of course, despite seeing me waiting behind two others, the woman dealt with their prescriptions first and let me wait ten minutes patiently, rather than quickly informing me, "we can't sell anything" to save me time. What's the point of a shop that can't sell you anything just because there is not a pharmacist present? Pointless and thoughtless.

Have lost or not processed my prescriptions multiple times, always massive queues. Shut between 1-2pm. Text service been broken for forever so you have to guess when your prescription will ready. Just generally quite inconvenient to use

Wouldn't even rate a star to this pharmacy... Been 3 times already in 2 days and on 4th visit - they say didn't unbox the stock due to short of staff and requested to raise the complain to the Compliance team. Unorganised and unfriendly service.

Prescription ordered for last Wednesday, but not ready. Came back on Thursday to find shop was closed. Came back on Friday at 5 to one, and the doors were already shut for lunch (at 1.00pm) with no access. Came back at 2:20, and the shutters are down and they won?t even answer the telephone. No notice on the door as to the reason. Do not use this pharmacy

Not for the first time I have had to phone Rowlands many times (40 today!); calls always either unanswered or engaged. Must be really frustrating for their employees too. Wouldn't be so bad but I wasn't calling about an item they've failed to deliver but I was! Really poor customer service.

Customer services are disappointing and really substandart. prescriptions always get prepared several days after its ordered. They used to send messages when prescription was ready. They stopped doing that. Its usually closed when it's not supposed to.For example, i was at GP today., prescribed some antibiotic. I was advised to go to pharmacy to get it within 2 hours as I needed to start taking it straight away. I went there at 3 pm, it was closed.Later in the day i checked online if it's open. It said its open until 6 pm. I went back at 5:30 pm but its was still closed . They don't even bother to put up a sign to tell their customers why its closed and when it's open again.

Currently sat outside this pharmacy looking at the door shutters down and the front door locked. However it says you open until 6pm?!It?s not just me. Stood with a crowd of very confused and annoyed people. When some people are reliant on collecting prescriptions it?s disgraceful.I wish there was a different pharmacy near me!

Going to this pharmacy is a case of Russian roulette. If you are lucky, you get one of the staff members who are helpful and polite; a friendly young, slim muslim girl, a round-faced young white girl with dark hair who could not be more helpful, a skinny bald guy with tattoos and a smile, and a blonde girl called Julia who clearly knows her stuff. If you are unlucky, you get one of the miserable ones; a large white girl who likes to drink milkshakes noisily behind the counter, a skinny white girl with long hair, who is sweary, sour-faced and says "Can I 'elp?" in the tone of someone who clearly doesn't want to waste their time 'helping' customers, or a sullen, large, short muslim girl who prefers to use one word rather than two, less she over extend herself. Perhaps they are all lovely people, but they just hate their jobs.Every time my doctor says "You will have to go to Rolands..." I think I'd rather just perish of the ailment. My doctor suggests this is a common reaction from any patients sent to there. There used to be a competent manager called Monica who ran that place very well. Sadly since she left a few years ago, it's been downhill. Why there isn't some staff review where they keep and promote the few friendly, polite and efficient staff, and get rid of the ones that make going to that pharmacy about as appealing as a hiking trip to Mordor, I don't know.
