Wonderful hotel, bar and restaurant. Quiet rooms, comfy beds, blackout blinds. Fantastic staff in both reception and bar next door. Food is good and very reasonable, breakfast is a real bargain, and the unlimited tea and coffee, amazing. Special mention to the manager of the bar and his staff who can't do enough to help. They are often busy and yet always find the time to be attentive and personable. Great place, will stay here every time I'm in Cambridge.

Great as always! Love premier inn. Always consistently good. Was worried about the new beds but it's great, as good as the hypnos.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good shower.The TV is supposed to accept an HDMI cable in order to use Fire stick etc but doesn't and doesn't enable mirroring either despite what the website says.The WiFi was off for almost the entire two day stay.Breakfast at the adjoining Beefeater was very nice.

The restaurant is very worn and dated. Bar was ok. Breakfast area was tatty and scruffy but breakfast was good. Staff in the bar and restaurant are good but need more of them. Some rooms refurbished some are not, so pot luck if you get an old one or not.

Arrived 25 minutes early & told/made aware immediately that it would be an extra £10.00p for early check in which I declined & went next door for a couple of pints ( separate review for Travelers Rest Beefeater ) came back at 1515 & greeted on reception by Monica who could not have been more charming & helpful, we were designated room 17 accessible as my wife is confined to her mobility scooter & the room was outstanding but be aware you can not open the windows in this newer section of the hotel but the air con was adequate for our needs. Only other point of concern was that the door through to the restaurant was locked so one had to negate going outside & back in for the adjourning restaurant which is OK when weather is nice but should say not if inclement, we would not have used the restaurant in this case & would have had a just eat delivery.

Rooms were good, the beefeater attached for providing your breakfast and other meals was run down, dirty, greasy, sticky typical of many such places which are near the end of the cycle being due for a refurbishment.The food was average but the manager was stressed, and obviously not happy being there.I would suggest trying an alternative Premier Inn location.
