A hidden gem indeed! The food is lovely- especially the special crispy chili prawns dish. The owner is an 84 year old Chinese guy who has been in the U.K. for decades, he?s so sweet and has so many stories!! Worth going in just for a chat with him if nothing else ? it?s a bonus that the food is so delicious too!

Excellent dinner. The restaurant was quiet but the service was very friendly. And the recommendations from the owner were all delicious - meat, fish and vegetable dishes alike. The sea bass in particular was very tasty. It was our first time but we will be sure to come again.

I was there with a big group and we shared several dishes: every single one of them was delicious. We had deep fried mixed seafood, prawns with black bean sauce, aubergine, cabbage, kung pao chicken and smoked chicken. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in Cambridge.

Absolutely a hidden gem in Cambridge. Portions sizes are more than enough in size and quality to justify the price, and the staff are accomodating and experienced. The only reasons it loses a star is due to the small number of nearby parking spaces, and the fact that being able to speak mandarin will help a great deal when ordering.
An incredibly authentic, high quality and satisfying place to eat. All food is cooked from scratch after ordering by an extremely experienced chef! Cannot recommend higher.

Food quality is good, in particular, the deep fried squid is very delicious. The 82 year old Taiwanese Chef made us a chicken fish soup with deep fried rice vermicelli. It?s very special and we all love it. The portion is generous. Service is excellent. It?s quiet on a Sunday night, probably due to location.

When we last lived in Cambridge 20 years ago the Peking was a find. Although its moved location since the food was just as memorable and authentic. Great squid starter along with dim sum, with sauces that matched the dish. The prawn dishes were wonderful (check out the one with the crispy rice). The service was at a pace which made you enjoy the food even more. We were even given a parking spot right outside the restaurant. This is how a meal out should be. The only surprise was it was quiet, although it was a week day, and we were still well looked after.Parking: There are a few spaces right outside the restaurant. Just pop in and ask.

I don't like posting a negative review but this place was dead on a Friday night. Not a single other customer. The staff are friendly and the food isn't bad. When it came to payment they had no signal for the card machine and I had to walk to a cash machine to get cash. I couldn't recommend it as a fun night out but I hope business picks up.

Possibly the best Chinese restaurant in

Takeaway food was generally poor and very expensive (£50 for 2 main dishes and a side). The aubergine side dish was reasonable. But the beef was tough and of low quality. The pork dish had not much tough meat and a lot of tofu.

Came with a large group of friends. The chef suggested that we simply state our preferred price range and he would just bring us an assortment of dishes, but he seemed to be offended by the fact we were only looking to spend around £15 each. No problem, we'd just order from the menu. Glasses for water came out but half of them were unwashed to the point of being visibly brown. My bowl also had a healthy layer of brown crust on it. It was at least 45 minutes until the first dish arrived. To be fair, the food was fairly tasty if rather salty and portions were fairly large (a group of 4 could probably split 3 main dishes) but I've had better takeaways for half the price. The meat was clearly cheap. If you absolutely must order from here, I thought the pork wih aubergine was quite good. One bite of my sticky rice was so cold I could hear the ice crystals break between my teeth. The bill we received initially was considerably higher than expected due to some incorrect adding-up - this was eventually fixed after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing. In the end, £15pp for the quantity of food we got is a pretty fair price these days but that's where the positives end. To top it all off, several of our group had a stomach ache the next day. There's no shortage of good Chinese or East Asian food in Cambridge - don't waste your money and risk your health here!

They were happy to accept an order via deliveroo and then tell them it had been delivered when it clearly was never going to be prepared by them on the bank holiday. Wasted an hour sorting this mess out and getting a refund. An ok restaurant to visit in person but avoid ordering from them online.

Food was burnt and soooo salty, service slow and so overpriced. For the cost it would have been nice for them to shred the duck rather than dump I quarter duck on the table and walk off. Picture is of a schezwan chicken - burnt and what can only be described as a plate of cashews and chilli!
