Lost all sight in left eye during 1st lock down. Tina, their optician rang me at home & told me to go to A@E & demand to see specialist in eye clinic. Did this. Some sight recovered. Later before Xmas I realized same eye sight had deteriorated. Brilliant savior Tina Sent email to clinic explaining sight loss. Cataract will be removed 15 Dec. Both clinic 14, cataract clinic & Murphy Optician saved me from not working for ages - no income as zero hour carer contract. So grateful

My regular optician had retired; I last had an eye test with him nine months ago but although I wasn't due another test I was aware my vision had changed. I am SO very lucky to have gone to D W Murphy as Suzanna arranged an appointment at Addenbrooke's the same day she did a new test. I have just had a detached retina repaired and I without the enormous skill of Suzanna and the wonderful staff at Addenbrooke's, I might have lost the sight in that eye. I cannot praise Suzanna enough. Thank you Suzannah. Eileen X
