So delighted with this hair done by Miranda and a colleague of hers (a trainee) a few months ago - never been happier with anything a hairdresser has done to my hair. I continue to love it, get lots of compliments on it too. Miranda spent a very long time on this to make sure it was right. Would highly recommend going for hair dying with Miranda.

I?ve been coming to Muir & Kerr for a few years now. Caitland always manages to exceed my expectations and does amazing balayage hair colouring. Couldn?t recommend enough!

I am so pleased to have been recommended Caitland at Muir and Kerr. From the moment we met, Caitland looked after me well and with great kindness and patience rectified my hair colour (which was badly coloured by a previous hairdresser). With a great cut and excellent advice, I left the lovely solon feeling and looking so much better! Weeks after my appointment I still get compliments and I got asked by many who does my hair! The salon is very welcoming and everyone is very quick to put you at ease and attend to your needs.
I've been a client of Caitland's for 18 months and she is phenomenal. Caitland is very talented, professional and friendly. She will guide you through every stage of the process. She does the best cut and colours and her bouncy blow drys are the best. I'm incredibly fussy with my hair, but I know I'm in trusted hands at every appointment with Caitland. Also, the diet cokes and conversations are a brilliant added bonus. :)

I?ve been coming to Muir & Kerr for almost 2 years now and can?t recommend this salon enough! I see Caitland (and Evie) who always go above & beyond. She always has the best ideas for my hair and follows all my inspiration pictures very closely - I always leave feeling fantastic. The entire salon is very friendly and welcoming! 10/10!!

I go here for my colour and Caitland has always done an excellent job. Had some issues with my colour after having my son but she helped me get back on track and now I love my shade - don?t have any plans to change it ?? definitely recommend muir& Kerr & Caitland !

I had a wonderful second experience at Muir & Kerr last week with Caitland. She came highly recommended to me. She is clearly very experienced and loves her work. She cut and coloured my hair beautifully and the blow dry was lasted nearly a week looking sleek and well-behaved! Thoroughly recommend the intense conditioning treatment too.

I went for a hair cut, I showed the hairdresser a picture of how I would like my haircut and I came out with almost no hair and while there yes I was smiling and thankful but I just wanted to get out due to stress anxiety upsets of ruining my hair. I did request the sides to be more feminine, as you can see the difference from how I would have liked my haircut shaped and I ended with something different and I never had my haircut this short this style. I?ve been crying non stop and I?ve sever stress depression anxiety and this just added now I?ve to wear a hat and I can?t even look at myself in mirror as it?s upsetting me so much. You can see what I?ve requested the haircut the length side and top where I said I need about an inch to be cut and be able to use my curling hot brush and now I can?t I paid £48 for damaging my hair. I?ve called several per response from Eddie below and every time I?ve asked for Eddie I have always been told he?s not working till Wednesday etc specifically when I say my name so they?re avoiding me so I?m responding here and requesting full refund of £48 as the self employed hairdresser didn?t follow my instructions or request of how I would like my haircut and tried to email them but there?s no email address so this what I?ve put on my email to Eddie and the affect of what?s happened to me after the awful haircut

Thank you for your respond to my review and I?ve been unable to communicate due to the fact one of you self employed hairdresser caused me so much stress anxiety upset self harm unable even to look at myself in the mirror.
There?s nothing can be done as my hair is gone been cut extremely short and not the way I?ve recut from the hairdresser specifically showed that I would like my hair long enough to use my hot brush and just blend the side again to use my electric hair curler which?s unable now as there?s no hair to curl
I take so much pride of my hair and I am beyond upset stress anxiety depression because of what?s happened with my hair.
There for I am unable to speak directly with anyone Eddie and just managed to type this down while crying it has taken hours and days to get it done but I am still struggling emotionally mentally physically and requesting full refund of £48 it?s what I paid which?s not going to heal or bring back my long curly hair back.
I am attaching pictures of what?ve requested from the hairdresser indicating I would like the sides to be long and feminine just light blends not as shaved in the picture but the top side back to have the same shape but longer length. Some areas hair been mmmmmmm shaved showing circle where been snipped to close my scalp and my receding hairline gone so I hope you understand how I am feeling disgusting distorted broken mentally and physically emotionally words are not enough to describe how I am feelings and emotions just shutdown. Request more feminine cut ends up looking like a soldier I had enough of this keep calling and requesting to speak with you as this is what you?ve requested from your response to my review.

I have my hair done regularly by caitland always super service and everyone is always so friendly and always happy to help. Caitland always does an amazing job and is always really kind and friendly she puts a lot of effort and thought into her work would definitely recommend her.

Had my hair done by Miranda (and Evie during the blow dry). Amazing service, so friendly and so welcoming. Getting my hair dyed so wanted to make sure that I got what I wanted and they delivered amazing results! So understanding and thoughtful. Miranda is such a lovely and kind hearted person and did my hair with so much precision and was very patient with my hair! I told her what I was aiming for and she also gave me some guidance on what would suit me and it turned out perfectly. 100% recommend this place.

Fran at Muir and Kerr worked wonders with my half head balayage and cut! She was super friendly and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The balayage was stunning, and the cut was flawless. Fran?s attention to detail and client care made the experience unforgettable. I've never had so many compliments on how my hair looks ? super healthy, sun-kissed, and beautiful. If you want a hair transformation, Fran is the stylist of dreams! Will definitely be booking in again. 10/10

I highly recommend Muir and Kerr. Ed has cut and coloured my hair for several years and although Ed knows my cut and for colour preferences, he always encourages a discussion before working, whilst utilizing his extensive experience and natural talent to create a fantastic cut and colour each time I visit.There is always a warm welcome and happy environment between stylists and clients on each visit to the salon, with a fantastic service on each visit.

Just back from my 6 weekly appointment at the hairdressers, Muir & Kerry in Cherry Hinton, Cambridge. I have been having my hair styled by Eddie for the last 20 years and he never fails to do a marvellous cut and style. Added to that the sparkling conversation and ambience always create a really enjoyable experience

The most amazing experience!I have such a fear of hairdressers, haven?t been to a salon for years! Recommended by my Mum to go. First time meeting Eddie he did my skin test, made me at ease straight away. Day of the hair cut made me so comfortable, the most kindest personality, made me laugh so much. I was hesitant to have much cut off or have a big change, then changed my mind, best decision I?ve ever made! Told Eddie roughly what I wanted and let him do his thing. The end result was more than I could ever have asked for, I was in awe and truly never been so happy with my hair. Eddie knew exactly how to make the cut suit my face, I had a balayage and the way it blended was extraordinary!Thankyou Eddie and also Miranda for being so patient, so thoughtful and perfectly perfect.It?s crazy how just a hair change can make you feel on top of the world. You?ve put my faith back into trusting people with my hair again, forever grateful.LOVE YOU ALL! ?
