We visited for birthday lunch on a Sunday. It was a wonderful experience and we all enjoyed the food immensely. Service was friendly, professional and attentive. Above all it was the most thoughtful and impressive attention to dietary requirements we've ever encountered, with an individual menu provided for one of our group.Loved it and we will definitely be back!

What an amazing evening! We went for dinner with some friends, and had a lovely time. You get all the attention to detail and exciting flavour combinations of fine dining, but without the fussiness or eye watering bill at the end. The service was top class, and the tasting menu was varied and well paced - the picanha steak and the chocolate mousse were two highlights, but it was all gorgeous. It's brilliant that you can get this level of cooking in a jeans-and-a-nice top kind of relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back, with the family next time!

Delicious drink and good service, perhaps waited a little long between courses. Nice pub with high end restaurant prices. Interesting food, although perhaps style over substance on some occasions - fish was exceptional though. Small plates really are small and not really suitable for sharing which we weren't advised - next time I would order a small plate for a starter and a large late for a main with sides to share. Delightful meal though and nice to be able to try lots of different things. Should have left feeling more full considering we had 8 courses!! Would def go back but order differently

Welcoming smiles greeted us as soon as we entered the door. We enjoyed a lovely tasting menu plus wine flight. Each course including the amuse bouche and the bread were fabulously prepared, presented, and tasted. The wine flight matched the dishes so well. There must've been 25-30 covers on during our time, and everyone was superbly looked after by the 2 staff. amazing time and skills of the kitchen and the 2 front of house staff. Well done and thanks!

We had the set menu for dinner and it was outstanding. We will certainly be back. The service was very friendly and relaxed, the dishes were exquisite and plenty of food (more than a small lady could eat in my case)

So looking forward to visiting this resturant We had Sunday lunch ok but could have done better at home sono treat for me dessert was a nothing two slices of battenburg cake Marks and spencer sell better was hoping to go and have a tasting menu some time but now This review is a first for me but felt I ought to let people I was going to try for the conferences that I often have to organise What a shame
