Unpleasant Experience with Cashier Nixon at Metro BankI recently visited the Metro Bank branch to deposit a small amount of money, and unfortunately, I had a rather unpleasant encounter with the cashier named Nixon. I feel compelled to share my experience to bring attention to the issue.Upon approaching the counter, I was met with a barrage of questions from Nixon, which made the entire transaction feel uncomfortable and unnecessary. The intrusive nature of the inquiries was not only surprising but also quite unprofessional. I believe that such interactions should be conducted with a level of courtesy and respect for the customer's privacy.To make matters worse, the situation escalated when a manager intervened and accepted my responses, ultimately questioning Nixon's handling of the situation. This public display left me feeling embarrassed and humiliated, especially as there were other customers waiting in line behind me.Customer service is a crucial aspect of any business, and unfortunately, my experience with Nixon fell far short of the expected standards. It is disheartening to encounter such rudeness during a routine banking transaction, and I hope that Metro Bank takes this feedback seriously to address and rectify the issue.I trust that Metro Bank values its customers and strives to provide a positive and respectful environment for all. I hope that my feedback contributes to improvements in customer service, ensuring that future interactions are more pleasant for everyone.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Metro Bank. One of the staff members was consistently rude and unprofessional, displaying a complete lack of respect.It's disheartening to see such a disregard for basic courtesy and professionalism in a banking institution. I would strongly advise against banking with Metro Bank if you value respectful treatment and good customer service.

I recently opened a bank account this branch. It?s a shame that all staff cannot seem to give the same correct accurate information. Took me through the steps on opening a bank account which is called profiling. When I brought it to the bank manager he brushed it under the carpet and started talking about something that was irrelevant. ( I could tell his understanding wasn?t there) opening an account in this bank was very stressful and wasn?t as smooth an easy as other bank accounts I?ve opened in the past. When I recently went in to branch one the agents pressured myself and child to fill out a survey. Made us do it in frontof him which I have no idea why he even manipulated to what score to score him I gave him a 8 which he wasn?t happy about. Talked my child to giving him a 9 as anything under a 9 is bad for him. Which I think a lot of rubbish. ( this is why metro ratings are so high) in future I won?t be filling out anyone surveys if I do I will be filling them out in my time and giving the ratings that I want. Which I did.

Visited Metro Bank on Cambridge High street yesterday. Mr Bolu helped us in opening an account. Brilliant service. Very well spoken and polite young man. Overall a good experience.

This may very well be the absolute worst bank on Cambridge's high street. Do NOT establish an account here.I needed to create a current account, so I visited this bank three times. The first time, they told me they needed my passport, and once I brought it, they'd open up the account. I did that on my next visit.The second time, they told me I needed 2 very specific documents to prove my address, and once I did that, they'd open up my account. I spent several hours obtaining these documents and getting references, and I brought them in on my next visit.The third time, I sat there for an hour. They double checked all my forms. They had me log into all my other bank accounts. They had me sign a document. And then? They told me they couldn't open up a current account: it's against company policy to open up a current accounts for international students."But I did everything you said." I replied. "I brought in the passport. I spent hours obtaining these documents. You told me if I did all these, I'd get an account. Why didn't you tell me that you don't honour international students earlier?" They told me to use another bank instead.You will be deceived, lied to, and sent on a wild goose chase that ultimately results in nothing. I've never experienced a more dishonest bank in my life - one that wastes hours of its customers time - and frankly you'd be better off taking your salary in cash rather than trying to have it sent to Metro bank.

What a refreshing change to visit a bank where you are greeted with a friendly smile by a person who is immaculately dressed. The whole experience I had today at the Cambridge branch was excellent.Well done to the Manager, Lambros, who was both professional and courteous and extremely helpful.

Terrible experience. I tried to open up an account. They didn't let me because I had the wrong documents. I left and came back with the requested documents. They then told me I needed a DIFFERENT set of documents.

Thank you for the wonderful service... today I went to metro bank in Cambridge at 1PM and I was going to make deposit of 3000 pounds on my account your store manager: Khaver Hussain kick me out of there... he was demanding from me proof where does this money come from etc. when I said that's my savings I work as a cab driver and most of our job is in cash... he said that's not good enough and he won't accept my money....Can't wait till Tuesday because some legal action need to be taken. Thank you for brilliant customer service
