This bank has to be one off the worse banks I have used and so glad I am closing the account started of ok and over the year has got so bad now closed weekends can only pay £250 in cash in one go oh and only 10 bags of change in one go the list goes on I have a account manager and they never call back I run a business account told by bank I have to have all the invoices etc to pay any more in please think twice before using this one it really is not worth it

Very poor. I went to the time & cost of going into branch so a chaps payment could be made that day for a significant amount of money. It didn't go through & the excuse given was they needed to ask me extra security questions. Why didn't they ask me these questions at the time & why did they assure me the payment would be made that day? It has cost my business a lot of money & stress

Terrible service, unless you?re a dog. They happily have time to put water bowls out for the dogs while people are sat waiting for service?

As the business model pursued by Metro Bank slowly but surely fails, the standard of staff and service seems to decline in sympathy. With shorter opening hours and withdrawal of key banking services such as credit cards, it appears that Metro Bank are heading for inevitable demise. The staff all seem to know that it is only a matter of time before they lose their jobs and consequently now share an odd mix of sanctimony and arrogance which is incredibly demeaning to customers.

Disgraceful customer service. Asian lady at the helpdesk was very rude and had attitude throughout the whole time she was serving. Other staff didnt seem to care either. Safe to say im not coming here again and will tell my family and friends to do the same. AVOID!!!

Unpleasant Experience with Cashier Nixon at Metro BankI recently visited the Metro Bank branch to deposit a small amount of money, and unfortunately, I had a rather unpleasant encounter with the cashier named Nixon. I feel compelled to share my experience to bring attention to the issue.Upon approaching the counter, I was met with a barrage of questions from Nixon, which made the entire transaction feel uncomfortable and unnecessary. The intrusive nature of the inquiries was not only surprising but also quite unprofessional. I believe that such interactions should be conducted with a level of courtesy and respect for the customer's privacy.To make matters worse, the situation escalated when a manager intervened and accepted my responses, ultimately questioning Nixon's handling of the situation. This public display left me feeling embarrassed and humiliated, especially as there were other customers waiting in line behind me.Customer service is a crucial aspect of any business, and unfortunately, my experience with Nixon fell far short of the expected standards. It is disheartening to encounter such rudeness during a routine banking transaction, and I hope that Metro Bank takes this feedback seriously to address and rectify the issue.I trust that Metro Bank values its customers and strives to provide a positive and respectful environment for all. I hope that my feedback contributes to improvements in customer service, ensuring that future interactions are more pleasant for everyone.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Metro Bank. One of the staff members was consistently rude and unprofessional, displaying a complete lack of respect.It's disheartening to see such a disregard for basic courtesy and professionalism in a banking institution. I would strongly advise against banking with Metro Bank if you value respectful treatment and good customer service.
