Always good here . If you haven't got a hobby when you go into this store you will have buy the time you come out.

The stock is great, sadly they were out of stock of the product I wanted but the staff were extremely friendly and done their best to help me find what I needed! Overall great store and I will definitely be back soon!

I go here occasionally thinking I?ll get some nice bits of simple craft things. Yet somehow, despite having a shop full of stuff, they never have what I want. I went today and they didn?t even stock sketch pads for children! Or any other kind of scrap book. All they have is colouring in books or paint by number equivalents. Nothing too allow the children free expression. Looking around the shop it?s true of all their stock - it?s all over complicated and gimmicky. Such a shame.

I like Hobbycraft and it's convenient. I don't like there is less papercrafting/scrapbooking/stamping. Good offers and seasonal stuff. Annoying trolleys need a £1 and are tiny (for things like boxes you would actually need a trolley for). Overall a good store with wide selection though.

Writing this review after quite literally one of the worst customer experiences I?ve ever witnessed or experienced.
My SEN child spent a good while picking out a balloon and took it to the counter himself with excitement. This is actually a big achievement for him.
I?m only doing this because actually without my mum being there I would?ve just walked away as a woman with ASD. Even if I knew in my head what you were saying was wrong. I?m not confrontational in the slightest. Or even one to question something. Which makes me feel sad for any neurodivergent customer who could face the same thing and not feel able to speak up.
It was roughly 7:45pm. In front was a customer trying to make an exchange to which she was greeted with just the most rude demeanour by the young woman with coloured hair. ?Do you not have the receipt? It would make this much easier?? this doesn?t sound bad but it was said in annoyance and with a huff. People aren?t there to convenience you they?re there to be served, even if you don?t particularly like doing so.
My mum politely asked if they had helium to blow up the balloon and was greeted with a blunt ?we can?t do that now we close in 15 minutes? - to which she simply responded with ?it will only take a minute or so though.?
Then rather than thinking it through they both (Maja & Katie) became very defensive saying ?we have all these tills to close, all my staff are busy elsewhere? - ok? Then why did a member of staff seem at leisure coming to check her mobile phone? Why were you previously just standing there watching your other member of staff serve somebody?
There was THREE of you there and it takes one person 90 seconds (as timed) to blow up that balloon for that child. Hypothetically speaking even if you did need to do this you could?ve started on a till not being used whilst your member of staff took the two minutes to serve. When mentioned how great the service used to be with the old staff, you said ?what because we said we can?t do the balloon?? ~ NO! Obviously not. But you didn?t even have a single polite tone to your voice when saying it in the first place. It was as if just us standing there was doing you a disservice.
The sniggers, and the eye rolls, the looks amongst yourselves for what? If you?re that miserable why are you working at the forefront of a retail chain? It?s one balloon for a little child. There?s a total lack of decency and social skills. If this is the way you treat everybody it is not going to be very long before getting many more complaints.
There?s absolutely no sign in your shop that states ?balloons will not be blown up when the shop is closing in 15 minutes.? - and there never would be because again, it took 1 minute 30 seconds, and your area manager likely expects you to organise yourselves a little bit better rather than not provide the service you?re there to do.

Maja & Katie have to be the worst staff I have ever come across.
Acting like it's a chore to simply fill up a balloon for a small child because they have 'better' things to be doing like scrolling through their phone on social media.
Terrible DEI hires.

Easy access with ample space for parking close to the store. Well stocked, over two floors. They had everything I came in for and a little more!! Certainly worth the visit.
