All the staff here are friendly and very helpful. In particular, Kier and Nathan have been incredibly patient as my daughter gets used to contact lenses. We always receive excellent and professional care.

I have been with D H Thomas for years, and went to them as I have a complex prescription and needed a bit more care than the high street opticians give. In the main they have been excellent, although in the past couple of years the admin side of the organisation (booking appointments, delivery of contact lenses) has been a bit adrift. I have generally felt that the practitioners I see are careful, professional, responsible people.

Outstanding service and care. I?ve had excellent care and service from the D H Thomas team for over ten years, my wife for much longer. I recently needed to take in a pair of glasses that I bought a few years ago for repair. I didn?t really expect them to be reparable but thought I?d give it a shot. Some heroics from Phil mean that I?ll probably wearing them for several years to come. Thank you so much!

First time with DH Thomas. Looking for choice of frames which they have and help with reading glasses. So variable focus from 1 foot to 1 meter (mixing units) work brilliantly. Best reading glasses I have ever had.

Attended D.H.Thomas Optometrist, down Hills road today after my son's went a few months ago. I found practice extremely professional, covid secure and friendly. I had a thorough examination by Melissa, she explained all the different process's. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate in going back with any eye issues in future. Thanks to all the team.

This a very professional place. The staff are always friendly and show interest in their clients. They are very thorough and use the state of the art equipment. They also have a fantastic relationship with the Eye Clinic at Addebrookes. If you are looking for an efficient, knowledgeable optometrist then this is the place to go. They also have a wonderful array of frames to choose from. Thank you for taking good care of mine and my families eyes.

I used to have my eyes checked by Boots/Specsavers etc. I've never been happy with the service of any of them. The errors the quality of the generic glasses and service were meh!I was lucky to have DH Thomas on Hills Road recommended to me.The difference in quality of the service, you're always made to feel welcome, great cool frames and lenses, treating you with respect and as an individual, the very knowledgeable friendly opticians and the bang-upto-date testing equipment makes the experience light years ahead of all the others. I had an issue with my eyes before I went for my latest routine eye test, I was booked in urgently. Because the photos of my eyes were thorough and detailed the optician was able to compare with past years measurements and establish the progress of my problem, thus were able to put my mind at rest. They have a great relationship with Addenbrooke's Eye Clinic too where referrals can be made if needed, which they did with my mother.You have only one pair of eyes. Treat them with respect. I thoroughly recommend DH Thomas.

I have been really impressed with my recent experiences at DH Thomas. Their eye examination was the most thorough I have had, and the selection of frames they stock gave me lots of choice, whereas I usually have very little due to my complex lenses and nose shape. I received great advice on frame choice from Petra, and a full explanation of all the different elements of the eye test by the optometrist. I have also taken my 4 year old here for her first eye test, and they were wonderful with her too.

Fantastic service and extremely friendly staff. They provide a very thorough eye examination which covers all bases and the selection of frames is vast. I shall be returning soon to buy some sunglasses too. Great work all!
