AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE. I went to the Costa 40 hills road cambridge to use the toilet as I?ve just come from another Costa downed my drink on the way and funnily enough needed the Loo after being on a train! Always loved Costa and the service, but no, not here. I asked politely to use the toilet and got told ?it?s for customers?, I?ve spent all my money on Christmas shopping I didn?t need to spend more on another food or drink item I didn?t need just to use the toilet, I suffer with anxiety and using somewhere I feel comfortable and am familiar with is important to me. I feel disheartened by the situation I found myself in, and wish to bring light to this situation as I now feel embarrassed to ask for a simple human right. This is horrible to admit but it has also tainted my view of the company and their policy along with morale and common decency. I hope you can get back to me privately. If you wish to take this further I would be obliged. Reply with details for contact as I have also messaged your instagram. And commented. I appreciate this should not be an issue to respond to, however I feel extremely frustrated by this situation.

Very welcoming and polite staff, went the extra mile when I went with my daughter made her feel like "a big" girl and made her experience wonderful in the words of a 5 year old
Kid-friendliness: Staff spoke to my child asked what she wanted, complimentary to her and made her feel welcomed and like a person
Wheelchair accessibility: Everywhere is accessible.

The girl this morning was extremely helpful, I have an allergy to nuts and she went through the allergen thoroughly and took the time to open new packets for the muffins so there wasn?t a chance of cross contamination!

Terrible service, endangering those with allergies. I made it very clear I would like vegan hot chocolate, and I asked if the tiffin was vegan, the girl behind the counter said yes. She seemed very disinterested and quite rude, so I checked the Costa website just in case to find the tiffin actually contains milk. I then asked her to check her allergy book, which she handed to me and I checked through it myself and showed her it contained milk. She did not seem bothered, didn?t offer me a refund on the tiffin I had already paid for. The store had no customers in so there was no chance she misheard me, just blatantly lying to people. This lack of care could kill someone with a serious milk allergy, luckily I just have an intolerance. This Costa has become terrible for vegan products in the last year, the drinks taste vile and yet are very expensive, will not be coming again and will be swearing everyone I know off the brand.
Dietary restrictions: NO VEGAN OPTIONS

10/10 regular study area. The staff are super lovely and even check in to see if I needed any water. And location is great and super clean ?. If you need a study place I?d recommend.

Friendly staff but please buy a new card machine that works! Costa isn't known for giving that premium feeling but I'm not prepared to crowdfund for them to take my money!

Very quick and efficient service. Coffee was really good and served within few minutes. Didnt have any food to try on this visit
