The old indian guy at the cashier is not able to do customer service at all. Not only he was chatting with other members of staff instead of taking care of serving me, I had only four items, I asked him to finish with me and talk with his colleagues after, he had the bad idea to argue with me, told me if I was not happy I just had to use self-service. I found him rude and totally out of place in this job. Absolutely shameful. Co-op should hire better people for such a out-of-price shop.

I would have let this pass, but my recent experience compelled me to share. I arrived at the Co-op 10 minutes before closing (10 pm) to buy milk for my 2-month-old baby, only to find the doors shut. I could see the workers had already packed up. Despite explaining my emergency, they refused to let me in and simply said they were closed, ignoring my situation entirely.
This left me stranded and without milk, with no time to reach another Co-op that may have stayed opened adhering to the opening hours. It's clear the staff had prepared to leave well before closing time. This issue needs urgent attention. I'm disgusted by the lack of sympathy shown towards me.

Most of the products you find in normal coop or tesco or any supermarket you don?t find there also closes early what a waste of space in this location

Chased me out of shop accusing of shoplifting - self checkout didnâ??t let me cancel an error and no staff on hand, so I moved to the next till and paid. Staff were still rude to me even after I showed my receipt - they should really have apologised and not dug in for winter. Even ignoring this incident, the food is often rotting on shelves (as you can see from other reviews) and the store is slow at dealing with lunchtime queues. Even if you can find something plausible, itâ??s generally expensive and worth walking past to go to a competitor at the station.

Still not a happy chappy really, i love the co-op but the fact they have no croissants on a Sunday morning is an absoulte joke. But, I have to admit i love the service and it's actually very well stocked normally. Thankyou for your service.
