Alex and Anna were the best. Anna was heroic and very patient with fitting kids school shoes

Excellent Experience at Clark?s Cambridge
Had a great experience at Clark?s in Cambridge while shopping for school shoes. Sophie served us and she was extremely helpful, friendly, patient, and quick. She made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. The overall atmosphere in the store was welcoming and efficient, and we were really happy with the service. Highly recommend!

If Clarks didn?t have the monopoly on kids school shoes, we wouldn?t be shopping here. Shoes are good, staff and customer service are awful.
This is the second occasion we?ve been in for kids shoes this year and both times the manager has not only been extremely unhelpful, but outright rude and hostile. Whilst I understand that back to school shopping is a busy period, basic customer service wouldn?t go amiss. The manager?s general attitude was as though we had done something to personally offend her by being there. We also had a voucher to spend toward the total of the shoes, and it felt as though she was looking for every opportunity not to accommodate it.
The hostility of management is a shame as it really overshadows the help we received from the person measuring for the shoes; she was very patient with the children and generally very helpful.
I would suggest that perhaps this was an ?off-day?, but as mentioned, this was the second similar experience this year, and other reviews seem to express the same sentiments about the appalling customer service.

I am writing to formally raise a serious concern about an upsetting experience I had at your Clarks store located at 13 Petty Cury, Cambridge CB2 3NE on 30th June 2025.
I entered the store at approximately 3:30 PM, wearing a black vest and a grey white skirt, and I was pushing a black stroller with my young child. I was browsing the children's section, specifically looking for shoe sizes 7 and 8. Despite being in the store for quite some time, no staff member approached me or offered any assistance.
Shortly afterwards, a male customer entered the store with his kids. Immediately, a male staff member with black hair, not tall approached him and offered help. Then, a female white staff member with pony tail came over and assisted his child in trying on shoes. I found this extremely upsetting, as I had been left completely unattended while another customer received prompt and friendly service almost instantly.
Feeling overlooked, I spoke to the female staff and mentioned that there didn?t seem to be many shoes available in sizes 7?8. Her response was very cold and indifferent, telling me to ?wait a moment.? I then expressed my frustration, explaining that I had been browsing for a long time without anyone offering to service me. She did not apologize or explain, but continued assisting the other customer. When I left the store, the male staff member also did not acknowledge me or attempt to respond.
This experience made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. As an Asian customer, I cannot help but question whether the different treatment I received was influenced by racial or cultural bias?especially in contrast to the attentiveness shown to the other customer, who appeared to be a local British.
I am requesting a investigation into this incident and a written explanation as to why I was not treated equally, and what specific actions Clarks is taking to ensure all customers receive fair, respectful, and non-discriminatory service.

My experience of the service at Clarks shoe shop in Cambridge was not very good. I had been in the shop for ten minutes and no-one came to me and said hello, can I help you. I had to go up to someone for help and when I did, they were surly in their response. A smile or a good morning, doesn't cost anything.

The shoe is painful to wear

I recently visited the Clark's store for my kids and had a great shopping experience. The store was well-organized, clean, and had a wide selection of shoes in different styles and sizes.
I was particularly impressed by the salesperson, Fredy , who was exceptionally helpful and professional. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure I found the perfect fit. Their friendly attitude and product knowledge really stood out.
Overall, I left the store satisfied with both the service and my purchase. I highly recommend this Clark's location to anyone looking for quality shoes and excellent customer service.

Great shoes shame about the rubbish service (for which I give NO stars). I waited patiently for a collection and the woman (who seemed affronted when I came smiling to her), decided to help a man who was already being helped. Took her time to collect my order and came back and continued to stop and talk to the man. Bizarre or prejudicial. This was on 24.04.25 at 1730pm. There was a young lady and an older one- it was the latter person who was very unprofessional.

Very slow service. I ordered shoes online, came to pick them up, but they weren?t there.
No joy from the purchase

My experience in this store is always one that makes me remember it when i next need new shoes. I like that you can browse as long as you have the time. Golnosh always makes me feel so welcome.
I love the shoes for the great quality and selction. Very stylish too.
I can't wait to wear my new purchase. Its my go to place to find comfortable and lasting shoes.

Rich and diverse designs. Affordable price. There are few staff so customers have to wait for a long time.

Cloudsteppers
I am a big fan of the cloudsteppers collection. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. Lasts for years.
But recently cloudsteppers do not have much colour and style options. In the past this collection had female boat shoes and Mary Jane shoes. Some nice designed skippers.
Right now most of the shoes are just black coloured. Only boat shoes for males every summer.
I genuinely hope that Clarks will provide more style and colour options for the customers.

The in shop experience in store was good but the shoes wore down very quickly and the souls were hollow! These shoes cost £90 but the holes in the spills appeared within a month and started filling with small stones! x
