Lovely atmosphere. Staff delightful. All very clean and tidy. Great location and parking. Chips were the best! Felt very safe as a single female traveller. Will definitely go

It feels okay, but it's too expensive. You can live in a better place for 160, I have a comment.

The Centennial has been recently refurbed and is quite nice and although we did enjoy our stay there were a few issues for us - parking, yes it is available , but limited when the hotel is busy and spaces are very tight. It's not easy to navigate a large car. The room we were allocated was an attic room (note there is no lift in the hotel). Unfortunately for us we were in Cambridge during hot weather which made the attic room absolutely unbearable. There is no air conditioning (except in the reception) and so the room was stiflingly hot. There is one very small window and two electric fans were provided but did not help at all. I would make sure in summer that you do not stay in these attic rooms (i think there were 3). The location of the hotel is not near the university - you need to catch a bus or walk. We were very happy to walk - it only takes about 20 minutes. The staff were very nice - we considered asking for another room but didn't because we could see that they were quite busy/looked full. We probably wouldn't stay there again though, especially in the summer months

Rooms are recently refurbished and very well appointed and staff all very friendly and helpful. Space to park the car and easy bus service to the centre of Cambridge or a 15 minute walk. We stayed with friends taking four rooms and all were happy.

Booked for one night with my daughter as we were attending an evening event in town. Last stayed a couple of years ago and were very impressed so no hesitation choosing the Centennial again. Room quiet and comfortable, excellent breakfast served very efficiently plus lovely reception staff. We will definitely be back!

We contacted the hotel on the morning of our stay to check on the parking availability. Eleanor (forgive me if i've got the wrong name) was friendly and very helpful. She reassured us that there would be parking and said that we could arrive early and our room would be prioritised for early check-in if they were able to do so. We arrived at 11:30, not expecting to check-in but went in to let them know we had Parked the car (there were ample spaces) and were going into the city for the morning. Our room had been cleaned and we were able to book-in. She was interested in our trip and was able to give us helpful directions to venues. We loved the Hotel and our room (Deluxe double). The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was beautiful and had a walk-in rain-shower. Everything was very clean and in first class order. The city-centre was a 25 min walk along the Hills road, straight into it, although we could easily have hopped on a bus. There was plenty of of interest to see enroute. We spent time wandering around the colleges, the market square and had a picnic lunch on the river bank, watching the punts. We returned to the Hotel to freshen-up. We would happily have had dinner at the hotel as the menu appealed to us, but were going to see a play at the Corpus Playroom at 8pm ( I had googled Cambridge Theatres - we had no prior connection) so we needed to be eating near the theatre as dinner is served from 6:30 at the hotel and we thought it would be a rush to get to the theatre for 8pm. We had a great evening and the next morning had the full English breakfast. This was delicious and substantial and we did not want lunch. We would happily return to this hotel. Our stay was to celibrate our 49th anniversary and we had made the right choice for us.

Wanted a reasonably priced hotel with car parking near the station & this did the trick. Staff friendly & always on hand. Breakfast good - evening meal choices a tad traditional- but actually suited me. Rooms in the attic very warm & sloping ceilings - no lift but they were cheaper option - albeit nothing cheap in Cambridge. Was able to leave suitcase at reception after checking out for a few hours. Only a few minutes walk from botanical Gardens which are amazing (£7.20 entry) & have lovely cafe

A very well run hotel which offers an excellent city service at a reasonable price. It is a little bit of a walk to the centre - maybe 25 minutes to Kings but this is countered by parking. The inside is comfortable and of the exact standard wanted to suit the market for tourist and business people. Spotlessly clean everywhere, which is lovely. Breakfast is fine - not top class but more than adequate and a very speedy service. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time and we had chosen it for the close proximity to the Cambridge City Centre. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were allocated the Double Deluxe Room which we had booked. The Hotel Management and Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Our Room was clean and was serviced every day, however it was a bit noisy due to the main road in front of the hotel. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast in the morning, which was served in good time. We also had Dinner on the last day of our stay, which was well prepared and was very tasty, served in good time by attentive staff. We have no hesitation in recommending the Centennial Hotel to family members and/or friends.

Really nice hotel, though the standard double rooms we had are a bit dated. The luxury double rooms look lovely and all are very clean and comfy. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Good location for the station and botanical gardens, not too far from the city centre either. Onsite parking a massive bonus.
