Came in today with a paid of glasses that I bought in Manchester. I had bent the arm and hinge of my glasses badly. I had given up on them for about 5 months. However, the optician managed to completely fix them. (!!) Very kind of him. Would recommend.

I went for an eye test today and the service and attention were excellent, you really feel the difference going to a local business compare to big chains!!Amar was very nice, thorough and explain every step so I could understand what?s was happening with my sight. He also helped me picked some new glasses, plenty of options to choose from!!!I?d definitely recommend them, shame you can only give 5 stars

Cambridge Eye Care Centre have just moved from the High Street Cherry Hinton to Colville Road just round the corner opposite Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre Car Park. The optician always had a good display window and was open most days including Sunday. Assuming hours will still be the came but check on their website

Off the scale excellent! I am not easily impressed but the advanced technology employed for my eye/ vision test, puts Addenbrooke's Eye Clinic to shame. The staff is highly qualified, so much so that they teach the subject area they work in. Very friendly service and warm welcome. Will return! Thank you.

I was enthusiastic about switching to an independent opticians for an eye test and replacement glasses. On the day of the test the service was good and the staff friendly and thorough.I decided not to buy spectacles here after my eye test as the prices were too high for me.A couple of weeks later I called in to check the details of my prescription. I wasn't able to speak to the optician and left a message with the receptionist. Unfortunately, without even speaking to me, the optician decided to leave me a very agitated and confrontational voicemail in return, assuming I was blaming them for getting my prescription wrong, which wasn't the case, and telling me I shouldn't expect any help from them.I called to follow this up and clear the air, but didn't get anything like an apology.It's a shame as I was keen to move away from the big chain opticians, but I won't be going back here. The optician badly needs to work on his attitude and manner, especially where it concerns after-care.
