Extremely rude and pushy store employee (Saira).Impatient and downright rude at answering questions - at some point she was even forcing us to buy a bed.Were forced to go over to Dreams where we had such a pleasant experience that we ended up ordering two beds over a month.I'd avoid Benson's and especially such rude staff.

Always helpful and knowledgeable. Staff in store are friendly and offer guidance or leave you alone if that's what you prefer. Delivery staff were very helpful too!

Disgusting service. My parents went in to shop for some furniture today and the lady who was wearing a headscarf asked whether they were buying furnitures today.. after she said ?I?m just browsing for the time being I could do? she responded with ?well if you aren?t looking to buy, there?s no point in talking to you? whilst she was walking away she responded with ?what a time waste? despicable behaviour, never coming here again.

Visited the store to check out furniture.The store manager (Saira Shad) was extremely rude and made us wait for several minutes (while no customer in store) and continued making calls to collect payments from customers. Eventually we were seen and we ordered a bunch of items after a lot of influence from the store manager. Paid 50% and selected a delivery date. Got several calls for pending payment (ahead of time) despite being told we need to do it 5 working days before delivery date. After making final payment, two days before delivery date one item was out of stock, one day before delivery the main part of the bed was out of stock. We were told by delivery team that it will be an infinite wait, they can?t give us a date. We called the store manager and she was extremely rude (similar to the time we called for help on payment issues), and eventually we were threatened with order cancellation charges.We called customer care who apologised for the store manager?s behaviour and said that we will get our full money back so just waiting for a refund now.

Saira who looked after us was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. She expertly assisted us through the complex process of buying a new mattress and bed. Highly recommended.

I originally was only going in to look and get an idea of prices but the salesman was so helpful and I didn't feel pressurised into buying anything that I ended up buying two beds.

My daughter needed a new bed. We?d looked elsewhere but the stores were either small with limited ranges or stores that had premium beds only. The Cambridge store had a much larger range of beds across all price points. The salesman that we met was very knowledgeable, supportive and gave us a variety of options. He listened to my daughter?s needs, was patient with our questions and didn?t take us straight to the most expensive products. I didn?t take his name but all credit to him and the team for being so professional.The downsides were ( and the reason for not giving 5*):1) A 3 week delivery as the beds are made to order - which meant my daughter has to sleep on the floor of her re-decorated bedroom2) Price - There was no room for negotiation if we bought all the bed components from the same supplier ( other stores has some wriggle room). I also qualify for an 6% discount through a work benefit scheme but that was linked to online orders and not through the shops. Again, no room for negotiation.3) Delivery - We had to pay an additional £30 to get it delivered. I almost took our business elsewhere as a matter of principle. This is the second bed we have bought from Bensons in the £800-£1000 range and we didn?t pay delivery for the previous bed in 2020. In the end we were running out of time to go elsewhere ( Belfast Beds, Dreams etc) and just paid them the extra. But that slightly soured the transaction.4) Extras - The store tried upselling us bed protection insurance for £100, and a mattress protector - but at no times did they push either on us.
