I am not sure if the ambulance comes from you to pick up someone from GROVE COURT on Saturday today . If they did they didn't act as professional like because when they leave they slam the security door which doesn't need to be slammed at all . They don't respect anyone else who live in the block of flats. So if they slam it again I will not hesitate to phone the police and report them for disturbing the peace and quiet.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at CUH.I have just spent 11 days there with two surgeries for a bowel abscess and sepsis.Despite a long wait in ED of around 12 hours, it was clear the department was extremely busy, I was kept updated, bloods taken, pain relief given and a CT scan and referred for surgery the next morning. The ward staff, HCAs, kitchen staff, porters were all incredible as were the Colorectal and Urology doctors. As a paramedic of 24 years this is my first ever as an inpatient and I felt 100% confident in their treatment plan at all times. And I am fully aware of the pressures on the NHS in the current climate. My thanks go out to all the ED staff and those on ward L4 for their fantastic care.

My husband had an episode of a renal colic last night. It was the first time he had so severe pain At 4.30 am I dropped him off near A&E.It is 11.38 now, when I am writing my review and he is still there, at A&E waiting for the doctor to see him. Horrible.

Absolutely disgraceful service in A&E. The staff are rude, don't listen & don't care. My daughter was in A&E a few days before, got to see a doctor & not taken seriously with her chronic symptoms. She had to go back a few days later, because of not getting the right treatment for her condition. She needs antibiotics not anti sickness tablets, as she has a serious infection. If they treat people correctly the first time, then they wouldn't have to keep going back. This has been going on for 1.5 months now & is disgraceful. They need better staff who can put people at ease & not be rude towards patients. Also very discriminating towards patients & this is out of order. One complaint has been put in & more will follow if they keep up this awful service to people. We don't ask for much, but allowing patients to suffer, neglecting them & being rude isn't acceptable and damn right inhumane. The security guards are brilliant and the best staff in that whole place.

We had Breakfast at the concourse where you can pick 5 items for £6.00 or 7 items for £7.00 which is good value. The only thing was it was so damn cold the food for a hospital definitely not good.

I went to the Urgent Care after twisting my ankle, they took an xray and nurse told me that it is broken and they brought the boot and told me to go home because the treatment is done. Unbelievable! You are telling a patient that her ankle was broken and don't even bother yourself to come and explain what to do next, which medications to use, what to expect as a symptom. After I ask, the nurse came back but still did not say much. I have been waiting for a call from an orthopedist, it has been 7 days today. In additon, they are not uploading the results to the system (I do not believe it is for protecting the patients, if it is still so I am ok to give a consent to take the responsbility) and did not hand the result to me as well. To me, a specialist should have seen me at the first place. I am trying to reach 111 but I cannot talk a specialist there as well. Nobody is telling what to use, what to expect etc. This is the worst hospital and health system I have ever seen.
