We visited for drinks and are looking back go visiting in the summer..large outdoor seating area, perfect for the warm weather. Clean toilets. Good selection of drinks and food trucks at the weekend. We also for the rugby on and staff were happy to help.

Lovely pub. Sometimes has undesirable people in it, like most do. The pub itself is top notch, good position, especially in summer, the staff are friendly enough and the vibe is mostly good. They have good music events too and food vans regularly. Watch out for some of the locals. Caution advised with women. This place was my favourite for many years, I have no problem with the pub itself. Good beer, good spot, mostly good company. I'm not sure about food I don't think they serve food anymore but I don't know so I'm not commenting on that.

First and foremost It felt awkward at the bar attempting to get served . Several bar flies made the bar about two feet wide, and virtually impossible to get noticed to be served. Inexperience behind the bar, with a don't Give a damn attitude. Seemed to be quite a few loud potty mouthed drunks inside and outside the pub. It's not very appealing to the not so regular visitor.All in all not a very welcoming experience.NOT A FOOK GIVEN ?

The phrase friendly locals pub was made for this place. I went as a non-regular and Bob couldn't have been more friendly although clearly most of the folks there were long time visitors. Solid selection of drinks and a good atmosphere
