Little compact inside, but outside has plenty of seating and a garden area to enjoy at the rear. We didn't have any food but the menu looks good and by all accounts the food is supposedly very nice.

Good Sunday lunch; liked the idea of two sizes of portions which caters for different sized appetites. Not everyone wants large portions. Friendly staff and overall reasonably priced. Plenty of attractions within easy reach of Burwell.

Not the best roast today.did not look fresh as it was yesterdays left overs.greens cauliflower cheese carrots and parsnips.did not look appetizing lacked in colour and freshness.the young lady did not charge for my meal.puts you of going again shame as it's a quaint village pub

Fantastic pub with really nice decor that highlights Burwell history.
First time we have come here and will come again. Came to try Nishas menu and was a lovely few hours out as a family. Desserts were really tasty.
Nice non alcoholic alternatives. Brilliant secret garden with a unique play area with the kids.
It's so nice to see pubs like this still about.

Sunday lunch for four. Staff were excellent and friendly. The pub was clean and tidy and plates cleared away quickly. Staff were very accommodating. Definitely recommend and will return

First time we?ve visited today. One of the best roasts I have had eating out. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a good Sunday roast full of flavour and great customer service!

This is such an amazing wedding venue and at such a great price too. I cannot stress enough how helpful Kerrie and John were at guiding us on what we wanted for our special day. The food was spectacular and everyone loved it. Their newly renovated barn is lovely and their staff were also great at making this day perfect. The day itself was everything we wanted and more. I'll miss planning my day with them but I can't wait to go back as a normal customer as their menu is superb!

Review
We booked the Five Bells for our wedding reception and booked the barn and decking area. We honestly couldn?t ask for better service from John and Kerrie. They helped decorate and sort the tables for us when at fairly last minute the plan had to be changed due to poor weather. They were super flexible and accommodating with any request. The barn looked great and the food service, choice and quality couldn?t have been better. They really went above and beyond and we would 100% recommend booking any function there!
We also went back the following day for a Sunday roast and again, service and quality couldn?t have been better especially as we were a large group.

Great beer one of my favourites Justinian and the best cheesy chips or dirty fries so far this year. Could be a contender of the cheesy chip of the year award.
