Awesome local pub. Excellent kid friendly back garden with covid-area party huts. Servers are very nice. Great location in a bike-friendly area. Worth a visit when you're in the area. Does beer festivals from time to time with interesting local offerings. Winner of CAMRA awards for serving real ale. Lots of good larger and cider options. Food is workable. Hours are good - better than most. Will happily go back.

A beautiful little gem of a pub would highly recommend the food especially the beef and ale pie with mash potato and peas the smell was so good. even though I had a vegetarian dish which was really exceptional. Will definitely be coming back. 100%

The landlord is superb presenting his customers with a selection of excellent cask ales. Always has a dark mild on which is a major plus for a beer drinker.

All-around lovely lunch here today. Staff were super. Efficient, polite and never obtrusive. Vegan mediterranean tart was fab, served with salad and yummy crispy chips, it was a great lunch at a great price.
