The Shoulder of Mutton is a lovely spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and the dessert was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Special mention to our attentive waitress, Hope, and the very friendly lady in red, who made the experience even more enjoyable. Great service and great food?definitely worth a visit!

Came here with friends and we were served by Keyleigh who was brilliant. Great service and had a good laugh with the table. Food was delicious and quick. Will be back again soon

Cooled in on way home from a hen We ordered 1 turkey and 1 beef roast. The food was delicious especially the Yorkshire pub great gravy, a decent portion and variety of vegetables ,extra lovely gravy too Could not fault great value for money

Standard chain pub serving reasonable food, although my husband said that his chips were undercooked and hard. My Korean chicken with kimchi and rice was lovely

Food was very overcooked - vegetables were extremely mushy and mushroom pie was very liquid. Service was fine but slow and they forgot the tap water. Disappointing.

Steak and ale pie had poor quality fatty and chewy meat, vegetables were extremely overcooked and tasteless. Service was friendly but slow. Very disappointing meal for over £20 per person.

Don?t eat here, our meal was shocking, everything seemed like it was reheated several times before we were served it. Didn?t seem fresh at all, and that?s quite hard to achieve with chips and simple pub grub. 2 stars is generous.

The food here is absolutely delicious and I like that they have a good variety of food on their menu. They have been fantastic with my allergies (nuts/peanuts) and the fact that they ask you whether anyone at your table has any allergies before you place an order feels me with a lot of confidence. I have since returned twice more and had similar great experiences. Thank you!
