How can I say that this pizza was absolutely astonishing? They do 20% off take away but if you have time, stop and stay. Front of house is young, welcoming and cheerful and also very professional. In the kitchen I could hear some Italian voices and when I had my first bite I knew it was so authentic.
10/10 also the surroundings are worth the visit!

Staff were very unfriendly and impolite to us. They all looked miserable and bored, not a single smile for any customers. The prices are higher than other places in the area so perhaps no surprise that it was almost empty when we were there.

The restaurant run by Italians where friendship, friendliness, and a warm welcome are at home. I went for an ice cream with my children and in the end we also stayed for dinner and this was our first time in that restaurant. The food was delicious and the chef's visit to our table to find out how the dinner had gone was the icing on the cake. . I was really satisfied, they made me feel at home. Thanks to all the staff at the Lucca restaurant in Wendover. We will definitely be back

Went today with my son for lunch.4.5.2024. Really enjoyed it. Lovely pizzas. Service by a lovely young man(unfortunately didn?t get his name). He was friendly and cheerful. Definitely going again!

A very enjoyable meal for two on a Saturday night. Service was excellent and friendly. I had the Milanese burger which was superb! Parking was conveniently opposite in the main car park.

My daughter and I visited Lucca yesterday for a light lunch, firstly they advertised a dish on their board outside the restaurant (a antipasti dish)which the waitress said no longer exists and she?d report it to the manager. The chicken in my Caesar salad was tough as old boots and I couldn?t eat it, the waiter said he would tell the chef, we heard nothing back. My daughter said the bun with the Milanese burger had a weird texture. The chips that came with it tasted like they?d been cooked in old cooking oil. She ordered a pot of tea and milk jug had a dirty mark in it. Looking at the previous reviews made by others, it makes me think the chef may have changed by the time we visited. I would not recommend nor would we visit there again.

Avoid this place if you're in a large group. We had booked for a table of 15 of us, and it took half an hour for us to even get food menus. Apparently they had "run out" despite the restaurant having plenty of empty tables. The service all round was poor including having to chase up drinks and not being offered any after the first round. It took nearly 2 hours for us to finish just one course. The food itself is decent but it's not worth the hassle. This is not the first time we've had issues as a larger group.

Just had a takeaway, ordered it when we arrived and a drink whilst we waited. The food (3 pizza and a seafood spaghetti) was excellent. Best takeaway we?ve had for a while! Thank you!

Always a dead cert! No nonsense, good Italian cuisine, in a lovely setting with caring staff! Love the food: superb pizzas and pastas. The starters are excellent also! Top rated and highly recommended!
