A beautiful thatched pub in the quaint village of Weeden , food was delicious especially the triple roast potatoes and an amazing chocolate mousse , we were made to feel so welcome , would definitely recommend a visit and we will be going back

A beautiful thatched village pub with delightful and friendly welcome.
You can still visit for a real ale pint, ideal to sustain out the place! The food is something very special if you feel like treating yourself! Beautifully presented and innovative food. I have visited a number of times and can't wait to visit again! Certainly worth a visit!

Sometimes you find a place that is so astonishing and otherworldly that you want to keep it to yourself; especially when it?s such good value. Selfishly, of course, because you don?t want it to become so frequented that the prices go up.
That is, however, completely unfair to the fabulous team that have taken over this pub and turned it into what seems like both a focal hub of the village and a really fabulous dining experience.
We have Waze to thank for ending up here as it serendipitously rerouted us on our trip from Luton to Aylesbury. The road between Aston Abbotts and Weedon includes the most astonishing drive across the plateau and down a hillside and finally to Weedon itself, unsurprisingly at one point clearly the most beautiful village in Buckinghamshire.
We came for lunch, at 1:30 on a Friday and we were the only people in the dining room. You?ll see from the pictures the menu that we were offered and you can guess yourself which dish is which.
We?d imagined that we were coming to one of a number of nice country pups that offer food, but this was a completely different experience ? my wife said that she heard one of the locals saying that the chef had been on MasterChef; and it shows ? I wouldn?t have been surprised to have paid twice what we did had we been in London.
I really can?t praise the food, service and ambience enough. The menu changes monthly and I wonder whether we?ll be back more than 12 times in the coming year.
You might think that a 40 minute drive for lunch is excessive; I beg to differ when the food is of such quality.

We had the most wonderful experience at The Five Elms while celebrating Mother?s Day! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the perfect host, who made us feel so welcome and well looked after. The service was impeccable?attentive, friendly, and thoughtful, making the entire evening a joy.
The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite! The cozy, charming atmosphere of the pub made it the perfect setting for such a special occasion. The quaint building, with its character and charm, added to the experience, creating a lovely, inviting environment.
I can?t recommend The Five Elms enough! Whether you?re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fantastic meal in a warm and welcoming pub, this is the place to be. We?ll definitely be back again soon!

A charming pub, with great service, and excellent food. Venison starter was delightful, and the beef was a fantastic main, nicely cooked with a very flavourful carrot purée. Kids enjoyed their garlic doughballs starter and pasta or chicken goujons. Good value for money and would plan to be back!
