Shower only goes freezing cold or boiling hot, no inbetween. The whole building was as hot as an oven, I have been to saunas colder than my room. The windows could not be opened, the little fan helped barely if at all. The breakfast was nice though.

Good and traditional Place, lovely building, the food is delicious, but the only bad thing, always, is part of a Brunch Company, in this case Fullers, all menus the same in all pubs, really small adaptation for the community, take out the personality of the pub and workers, when the CEO never touch and work in a Pub create a roles and menus like a Fast Food restaurants and when are you find a traditional british Pub, i not find a London Restaurant managing with a Office Bussines people.
Guys is not a complaint, the staff is very Kind and the food is delicious, but need to descentralitzating the managing for more freedom and adaptation.
I dont Know the rooms because i just stay here for food and wait the bus to come back to Windsor.

My wife and I stayed at the Bel for two nights, our thoughts are highlighted below.
The room we booked was small stuffy and we had the extraction fans to the pub right outside our bedroom window.
Thankfully we were allowed to move to a slightly larger room but still had the extraction system outside the window.
Unfortunately our bed was so hard we were unable to achieve a real good nights sleep.
There was no mirror in the bedroom for my wife to do her hair so I had to borrow an extension lead to run from the bedroom into the bathroom to allow her to use the mirror. Not an ideal situation.
Mirrors in the bedroom are essential and fundamental for dressing and everyday use.
The toilet does not function properly, this needs addressing by maintenance.
Last n ight we arrived back at our accommodation late just after the pub had closed, we had to use the side entrance which isn?t really a problem, however, the gate is very difficult to ate and we ended up in front of the neighbouring houses to the annoyance of the locals.
We eventually found the gate which was reached through one of the locals driveway, annoying to them I am sure.
Please can you signpost this entrance properly to cause as little inconvenience as possible to both guests and neighbours.
This morning when we came down for breakfast, we allowed 45 mins to eat. I must add at this stage we were the only two residents in the restaurant. It took 40 minuets to have one full English breakfast, poached eggs and salmon hollandaise served to us, buy which time our transport was waiting outside to pick us up.
Needless to say we had to leave without having enjoyed our food.
The service within the restaurant is very slow and not al all welcoming nor friendly
Lovely quirky building and great decor but need to concentrate of the fine details, pub not for us and we shall not return, this is such a shame.

Fantastic evening outside on the terrace. The food was excellent and we loved the flight of 1970s Armagnac. Special thanks to Ciaran and the team who looked after us so well.

Went there for a Sunday Roast. Staff were extremely polite and, friendly and so welcoming. The place itself is very nice inside and the beer garden is big and so well kept. Tables are not cramped together. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone and my partner and I will definitely be returning again.

What a perfect pub! Our little group of half a dozen gentlemen all of a certain vintage were in our element enjoying the beer, the company of like minded individuals and life in general. Splendid.

Stayed here for one night with my husband and toddler. What a find! The service was excellent; the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was small but well formed - loved the Bramley products and the modern decor. We enjoyed having drinks in the terrace and the food was top notch. The Devonshire crab pasta, courgette with yogurt and fries were dreamy! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here for a night including having an evening meal.
The building itself is fantastic with an old style front section and a more modern open space at the rear. Garden outside is really lovely too.
Staff were incredibly welcoming and showed all 3 of us to our individual rooms. The waiter that evening was superb too.
Food was incredibly good albeit priced a bit high and the margarita was a bit lacking. Breakfast was spot on.
Rooms were really well equipped although in the old building the windows wouldn't open so it got a bit warmer than I like.
Absolutely would return.

A very good restaurant set in an atmospheric old pub. The fish taster starter was a particular highlight. A really good place for a meal out with friends.

Picturesque hotel in a very interesting spot. It?s what you look for to get that really British experience. However, rooms are a bit too old school to enjoy your time outside of shared areas.
